At that time, I don't disagree. Now seemingly, with the hire of CCL, we are less vanilla with the passing schemes and therefore able to utilize a pocket passer in combination with power run and shifts/motions.

Named Florida his leader

Keith has now CBd Asa and Joiner to AU. I can dig it!

Big offer. Lot of talented backs in this class, close to home.

His high school coach helped us get this win.
Coach Shelton Felton...just because I like saying it! LOL

Worm already killing it on the recruiting trail. He is the Askew of the '18 class. Looks like he's working hard to bring elite talent with him. He and JG are in Copelands ear big time!

Parks to FSU is trending, so Bryant to UAT would just leave us tabbing TD as the Buck signee for '17.

Like most coaches who go to another team, they want to bring a few coaches with them. I'm surprised Chip isn't bringing any with him from Arizona State.
Not sure there are many coaches on ASU staff I'd trade with. Our O staff is strong with the exception of Kodi, and I think that's just inexperience.

And Bryant still has his AU visit this weekend right?
-
TD was told this a week or so ago. He would still prefer to wear his traditional #30 but Tre has it for another year. And he will play multiple positions next year, that will include both LB spots and Buck.

I love everything about him but in full honesty at Army All-Star check in 2 weeks ago they measured him at a bit below 6'1". I love his potential as a Rusher but it would be hard to do that off the edge in college at that height.
I am 6', he is not. He has relatives 6'4" and 6'5", assume he is not done growing.

TD just stopped by the office on the way to AU for his OV. He was excited to go fishing, hang out with T-Will and is focused on recruiting Tyler Taylor, Ryan Johnson, and Devon Hunter (not sure he knew he wasn't coming). Made him promise to tell me any news on the OC front, lol.
Also, legit 6'-3" 230lb with a handshake that you better be ready for. Good kid, built like a tank!

I know but that does not mean he's not visiting.
Ah I see what happened. I was referring to signing with, not visiting. He may visit, he's not coming to AU.

Have you seen something new on him?
Been a Bama lean for awhile

TDs lead recruiter was Cristobal. When he left, all chance was removed. Pruitt is not nearly the recruiter. TD does not like Pruitt.
Also, TD solidified a firm commitment to AU when KJ committed. They want to play together.

Parks ain't happening. He's rollin

Sat near and talked to Nick at the SB. Great kid, but no way he is prepared to play next year from a physical standpoint. His listed measurements are accurate. He is tall and lean and will need to add 20lbs to be able to compete in the SEC.
-
TD and KJ have become good friends and are excited about playing together.

Not an EE. Still in a strong position but I won't feel comfortable until he signs. Bama will continue to pressure.
Spoke to his uncle today. The whole fam is gearing up to go to SA to watch him in Army game.

From CGMs presser yesterday...
QuoteWanted a long body with receiver skills at tight end. Cannella really gives them that look. He got a lot of work in the red zone in JUCO. Has a chance to get bigger in the offseason.
Tight end is an area we needed more depth and speed this year. Cannella has chance to help immediately. When we were at our best in 2010 and 13, we had a threat at tight end.

Will these be closed practices, as we have been accustomed to with Gus, thus having to rely on players' comments as to their opinions of individual performances?
All practices are closed to the media and fans. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn will speak to reporters Wednesday and Dec. 20. Selected players will speak Thursday and Dec. 19.

Really starting to wonder how many DBs we will take in this class. We have 5 committed now. It's likely us or Louiville for CJ Avery...And we are apparently making a move on Devin Hunter again.
Preparing for the inevitable decommit of Bishop. He's a dawg.

BTW, this has AB written all over it. Same with Kmart. The introductions and guidance from him to speak with AU is being undervalued in this thread.

I transferred between private and public schools in Bham and had to sit. I think in AL if you leave the zone you don't have to sit. I didn't move, only changed schools and had to sit.
