Well he knew the job when he took it.  He won’t get fired this year barring something completely out of left field, but he’ll have to show improvement next year and especially by year 3.

They are showing nothing. Total regression across the board. I don’t think a full recruiting year will matter. No reason to believe as of now an upgraded roster will be better prepared with this staff. 

Because they won’t.  Freeze was hired because the powers that be are obsessed with not winning championships but hiring coaches who have beaten Saban on their resume.  This is why Freeze was hired.  This is the only reason Freeze was hired.

I think Freeze is more involved with the offense playcalling than many realize.  

I mean we are officially an SEC bottom dweller.  We’ve become the new Vandy.  Every team that plays us now sees us as a cupcake.  I just can’t believe this.  This is such a drop of where Auburn was when I was in school.   I don’t expect to win every game but at least put a respectable, competitive product on the field.  This is pathetic and embarrassing.

I mean everyone wants to blame Gus for recruiting and it’s true but I remember him putting some competitive offense out there.  At the very least we won games we shouldn’t.  Harsin just never really bought into the job and just collected money from Auburn.

Yeah you kinda did.  I said one recruiting class which means in year 2 they turned it around.  You provided stats in their first season which is entirely different.  

Why does it take 6 games to realize that Ashford is the best option to move the ball?
