Hopefully, J-Hey gets back into a groove this series. I don't think he had any rehab starts so it may take him a few games to get back in the groove. But like it has been said. If one brave isn't getting it done another one steps up. Gotta love that.

I got to see them a couple of weeks ago in Bham. Thirsty Thursdays! The coolest thing by far that evening was a guy hitting a foul ball into someone's unattended beer. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen at a baseball game. The crowd went nuts. Enjoy some minor league ball.

That is the good thing about being in first. Everytime we win they have to win to keep pace. I think we should just DWWD and it will all take care of its self.

I think we win 3-4. Brewers pitchers have an ERA between 4-6. We have to take advantage. Hopefully, JJ has a great night. He will strike out Prince Fielder at least once.

Especially after last weekend's game. Where escobar missed a fly ball and almost got Glaus injured. Bobby kicked over a chair in the dugout. I think it was simply time to move on. I am excited to see what Alex Gonzalez can do. We really didn't lose anyone in the trade. So we will see on thursday.

People on talkingchop are going nuts over the trade. IMO I think that Escobar just wore out his welcome. He can be aloof sometimes. Like the bad base running where he failed to tag earlier this season and the lollypop throw that could have broken Glaus's arm. I think the front office might have wanted to move on. I think Escobar was due a raise at the end of the year. It is his first arbitration year. They might have not wanted to spend the money on someone who can lose focus. All of this is of course conjecture since i am not Frank Wren or Bobby Cox just my opinion.

Nice to see BMAC win the MVP. Too bad I didn't see Omar Infante. I would have liked him to get in somewhere. Unless I missed it.

I agree wellsheit. Santanas line 7 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 3 H, 5 K Lowe's line 5.1 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 1 HR, 2 BB, 4 K Lowe wasn't pitching well with the sinker. He was 6/18 for ground balls. Also, he only gave up 2 runs. Not terrible. Santana was dealing it happens. Plus, we won the series. In the last 18 series we are 14-1-3. I will take that all day long. Go Braves! After the all star break the mets have an long road trip. Pretty much til the end of the month. The braves are pretty much home for the rest of the season. I like our chances. Here is hoping the braves send Bobby Cox out with a playoff run.

Hopefully we can take 2 of 3 from the mets and ride with a comfortable lead to ASG. Then we get JHEY back. Go Bravos!
