  1. Got him right in the stones. Too bad his wannabe gangster friend
  2. What the heck was Toula(how ever you spell it)witzki thinking? I'll take it.
  3. That homer was not Derek's fault, the pitch was in a good location. All you have to do is make solid contact for a homer in Coors field.
  4. Strasburg leaves the game in the 5th with an apparent wrist injury, is he going to be injury prone? http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylt=AhyBhfkWWsCc01GobfZdC.IRvLYF?slug=ap-nationals-strasburg
  5. I think this will be pretty close to the lineup. This is where Lee has historically hit and he will just replace the spot vacated by Chipper.
  6. The commentators on the game were talking about Joe Torre possibly not coaching next year for the Dodgers in part due to the management. How would you feel if he coached for 3 or 4 years in ATL? I for one would be happy, he and Bobby has similar coaching styles and he has already been a player/manager for the Braves (did pretty well too). The only real set back is that it delays the Braves from starting a new era as you know Torre will not be around for long. What do you guys think?
  7. Off to a good start, the braves are finally scoring some runs. We have got to take 3 of 4 in this series.
  8. Yeah, that was a great catch by the left fielder to rob Gonzo. If the Braves could score 4-5 runs a game they would be unstoppable. **good news - ted lilly is out of the game.
  9. There is no doubt it is going to be a dog fight the rest of the way. It will all come to a head when the Brave finish out the season with a couple of epic series against the Phillis.
  10. Wags got the nice recovery for the win. 3^ now
  11. So the closing pitcher in the All-Star game is demoted about a month later. Ouch!!!
  12. Haha with 40+ HRs of which 8 would be grand slams!
  13. Brooks is the man, lets keep him the lineup for a while.
  14. How does Alex consistently make great plays at short one night and then boot routine grounders the next.
  15. R.A. Dickey throws a one hitter. Guess who got the hit ......... Cole Hamels
  16. Huddy is on fire once again, yet we still can't hit with runners in scoring position. Mets up 1 - 0 in the bottom of the 7th.
  17. Yeah, the dodgers too but I was referring to the Met's record. Actually by my calculations the dodgers are 10-17 and the Mets are 9-17. Neither very good!
  18. Didn't they just take 2 of 3 from the Rockies? True, but aren't they something like 9-17 since the all-star break?
  19. I gotta admit, she is pretty fine! I would say she is!! I thought this was ha ha funny not make me feel funny. Look at the old lady in the background. lol lol. Those are some really proud gaytor fans. Sorry I don't make it that far behind Tebone me Nice end zone too. Oh if I could say what's on my mind now. I'm pretty sure I would get flag for excessive celebration if I got into that end zone!
  20. Hopefully we can at least capitalize off of the Dodgers being down after that miserable loss last night. The Mets have got to step up in this series with the Phils, they have been awful as of late. I've got a bad feeling they are going to get swept.
  21. Don't get too excited just yet. The Phils have cut the lead to 4 and still have 1 on base with no outs in the 8th. That's the bad the good is that it makes the Dodgers have to use more pitchers out of the pen thus wearing them down a bit before the Braves series.
  22. On a more positive note, the Phils are getting slapped by the Dodgers 9-2 in the 8th
  23. Chip had just said this was the best he had felt in 2 years.
