I don't totally disagree but it is in head right now and most likely will not come out of it in Atlanta. Hopefully there is a GM out there who thinks the same thing.

I still think there is a chance we trade KK in a package deal, but for that to happen we'll likely lose a prospect or two and a couple million dollars.

Its time for the Brave to put the peddle down and get some more separation between them and the rest of the NL East.

I think it is an incredible long shot to think Chipper would be the head coach next year but as far as a player going straight to manager, didn't Pete Rose do it? I know at one point he was playing while he was managing.

Nate's salary = 5 mil. Kawakami = 7.3 mil ? D. Lowe = 15 mil (highest paid player on the team) I don't know how long we have them locked up for but I don't see the Braves using too much of this money on new players because there are a lot of players on this team right now that are a bargain and soon will be asking for more money. Examples: Prado, Hanson, Escobar, Medlen, and Jurrjens all making less than 500K.

Agreed... This is his first full season in the majors and even though we haven't even reached the all-star break he may be hitting the wall. He is having trouble locating and has been consistently throwing the ball high in the zone which are both signs of fatigue. It may do him good to get a couple days extra rest.

I didn't realize that. I agree that he needs to go, it seems like his bad mojo wears off on the entire team when he is on the mound.

KK shouldn't get sent to the bullpen when JJ returns. He should get sent to the minors! I don't know if this is the snowball effect or what, but I think its got to be over for him in at Atlanta. See ya next year in Japan.
