It’s on the rant now. Enjoy the preview of the next N years/decades.

If BM is correct, I don’t think it will end well for AU.

“If” we can’t find anyone better before Wednesday, announce we will leave the interim tag on Caddy for the 2023 season. Let it be known that we are still looking for the right fit, but we will remove the interim from Caddy if the team does well next year. This allows us to not fire Caddy next year and lets him continue to grow for the future. Bring in one or more older, previously successful coaches to help mentor him on Zoom. We definitely saw progression over the past four games. If it doesn’t work out, Caddy leaves for a small school, gets more experience, and returns to lead us in 5-10 years. Profit.

I'd argue that fan criticism is part of the job...and that fan toxicity is an unfortunate reality at any top(ish) program. It would be for him to decide whether he wants to take that on.
As I've said above I think there are more qualified candidates for the position. I just found it distasteful that a poster suggested our rivals would laugh if we offered the position to him. He stepped into a mess of a situation and proved himself capable.
Something tells me Saban isn't laughing about how the Tigers ran for 300+ yards on him for the first time in his tenure there in Caddy's 4th game as head coach.
The interesting thing about the 300+ yards is that they knew it was coming, and they couldn’t stop it. We ran some really innovative plays yesterday.

A&M will have the last laugh. They beat LSU last night . Jimbo is overrated but they won’t consistently be down like this
I agree. A&M is young and will be much better next year.

Yes, it seems we’re going to miss on Coach Prime too.

Coach Prime and Coach Williams would be a powerful force.

I would classify Prime as a “fresh blood coach”

Everyone knows Coach Williams has much less experience than Kiffin or Harsin. So I think everyone, including Coach Williams, would be okay with a lower contract compared to them. The contract would increase over time for success on the field. The team has improved significantly over the past couple of weeks. Coach Williams’ lack of experience is obviously not ideal. But he does have energy, youth, buy in from the team, and a true love for Auburn which are amazing intangibles. Just thinking outside of the box given the box given the events of the coaching search over the past week.

Prime Time!

College football at the highest levels is now all about NIL deals. I predict that the players of the team whose university is smart enough to hire Coach Prime will see a big increase in their NIL deals. Hopefully that team will be Auburn.

Prime Time!

Congratulations Coach Williams!!!

I wanted CoachPrime back in February during the last round and after watching a lot of videos of him at JSU, I am more convinced than ever. The Lane Train would be great too.

We will probably find out from some Bama board.

Huge news!

Lane Train or Prime Time. I doubt Kiffen would come to AU now.

I’ve been thinking about this thread given the events of the past few days.

Super Mario recruited some good OL particularly last year. Jayson Jones should reach out to the good ones and get them to flip to AU. Would be ironic if Bo goes to UO, and we steal his line.
