  1. What is the general opinion of all the QB play yesterday? I think they still need a transfer or maybe even giving the California transfer a chance. Just for extra insurance.

  2. I know it’s over but why call a timeout on the 4th down play? Just got a penalty for passing beyond the line. I know it’s meant to see what they are going to line up like but everyone should know what they had to do. They have used timeouts all year on both sides for crucial moments and have been burned on all that I remember.

  3. We actually returned punts ? That’s been something missing for sure. And no false starts and a pick six ? I know this wasn’t a sec opponent but looks pretty promising. I thought The Qb play was good no int no sacks that I remember. So what is some complaining about?

Yes, it seems we’re going to miss on Coach Prime too.

My post from last night that the mods pulled . Was basically the new athletic director letting all this happen. And I figured Cohen needed to be held accountable for letting all the coaches slip away.

Did you even bother to read my post?  I clearly stated “post 2012”.  My point is that Auburn never made a run at Kirby after he landed at UGA.  We can do much better than Deion.

Yes I know they didn’t after He was hired by Georgia. Too late then! He beat Auburn his first year and the rest is history. What I’m talking about is it’s the same thing again with Deion and they are passing. So who is left that can recruit like Deion?

No they didn’t.  There has never been an effort to hire Kirby post 2012.  He would never leave his alma mater anyway.

Yes they passed on him ! He was an assistant at Alabama defensive cord . We interviewed him and passed. Ended up with Malzahn then Georgia hired him a couple years later. What I’m talking about is not waiting until Deion lands a job then when he gets well established like Kirby . both we could have had at one time.

That is perfect.  Lets see how he does at Colorado over the next 4 years.  If they start competing for conference titles  we can go get him.  Let Colorado be the guinea pig.

They tried that with Smart in 2012 . That didn’t work out for Auburn.

Oh, we have.    And we probably will.

Yeah that’s what I’m afraid of ! And I’m getting backlash from a lot of people for posting it but it’s the truth!

Or maybe it was pulled because it was an asinine thread on a day filled with other asinine threads 🙃

If you like loosing out on coaches and most of the games in a season then you are asinine ! They are not going to a bowl they are in the dumps. I have the right to complain. They get paid money and a lot to do this job.

Noone is ridiculing people for expressing their opinion, unless in fact that opinion is a pure meltdown such as

"your not a real fan if you approve of freeze"

"If you support Freeze you support sexual harrasment/assault"

"Fire Cohen he has missed on everyone"

"If you like Freeze you have no morals"

Yeah that is pretty much what most people's argument has been repeatedly...

I'm all for doing better but our approach of trying to be like that school over there is ridiculous. We spend so much breath trying to convince people we are not inferior to them but everyone argues that "this is how Bama does it"

We're not that poor man's excuse for a life... we are Auburn and we must start acting like it and quit chasing the ghosts of others.

At one time we were not inferior to them! We was the dominant football team in the state. But starting then they turned it around. And what Auburn has been doing lately is not working. They passed on Kirby smart in 2012 ? That could have been the turning point.

And the rest of the coaching staff that stepped in after Harsin got canned did a pretty great job.  Outside of those 2 weird fg calls at the end of the Iron Bowl I can't think of a single thing to complain about.  They took a half of football to figure things out against Miss State and only got better.  The moment that stands out to me is the 2nd half of Western Kentucky.  With Auburn losing momentum on offense and defense going into the halftime I could see Western Kentucky going up in the 2nd half and Auburn struggling to keep up.  Thats what I would typically expect in a team in this position.  Carnell and that coaching staff came out and had a team ready to dominate the 2nd half.  They really coached within a touchdown of Alabama tonight which would have been the closest in years in Tuscaloosa.  No matter what happens these guys have exceed my expectations.

He did better than some we paid big money for. What a lot can’t see but I did on those late field goals is the game was over and he was building on the future with big game experience for the kicker
