Yes I think he's the lead candidate right now if we were betting.
Good Grief!

Here are the odds according to gambling.com
- Hugh Freeze +100
- Mark Stoops +150
- Lane Kiffin +150
- Deion Sanders +200
- Jeff Grimes +700
- Kevin Steele +700
- Urban Meyer +1000
- Skip Holtz +1500
- Jeff Fisher +2500
- Bob Stoops +3500
- Bobby Petrino +5000
- Ed Orgeron +50000
I think Dave Aranda, Will Muschamp, Lance Leipold, Rhett Lashlee, Kane Wommack, Mike Elko, and a few others will all receive at least a cursory glance.
Personally, I think there are a few off this list we can all but eliminate. Including Urban Meyer, Kevin Steele, Skip Holtz, Ed O, Bob Stoops, Bobby Petrino, Jeff Fisher, and Lance Leipold all seem like non-starters for various reasons.
My top 5 candidates to consider would be:
Hugh Freeze, Lane Kiffin, Deion Sanders, Dave Aranda, and Jeff Grimes in no particular order. I can write more about this if anyone is interested in my opinions on the matter. It does seem like it's just a matter of when not "if" Harsin will be fired.
Do you really believe that Auburn would ever hire Hugh Freeze?

Gus didn’t leave us Robbie and he left us no depth whatsoever! I don’t think anyone on our offensive line would be a starter on any SEC team. We do have a couple of good running backs one good receiver and a couple of tight ends that he left us, but I would say that overall, he left us pretty slim!

That’s how I feel which is why I say we should get an interim pronto . I am typically against that
Who would you bring in as an interim and would you also have to bring in interim coordinators since the ones we have are Harsin men

You know on some level I get it. We all want to be optimistic about this year and how things are going. Hope springs eternal and Auburn often shocks the world when no one expects it. But at the same time, a realistic look at our situation isn't wrong. Our recruiting is suffering from that cluster**** in February. We have a coach that's learning on the job about what big boy football recruiting looks like. As a result, it's not stellar right now. Are people not supposed to point out the bleeding obvious? Is this only supposed to be an "only positive things about Auburn" board?
No, it’s not, but there is nothing wrong with being positive when something good happens and some on here are unwilling to even do that.

Yes, there are still some uncommitted. But now look at how many are already committed elsewhere. The vast majority are spoken for. We're fishing in a pond that has had 85 to 90% of the big fish already taken out.
You told us that there weren’t any left.

because most people figured out trump is a liar and a crook. people are sick of his mouth and whining. he gives himself away if you listen. and again.....he thinks his followers and supporters are still stupid enough to believe him.
So you believe old Joe and his son Hunter

Fair. He wouldn't be my personal choice either, but I've heard good arguments for him and felt like putting him on there.
You can put all the names you want on there but as of right now we have a coach that will hopefully be here for many years.

I don't think that plan gets past the court rulings that allowed the NIL to begin with. Recipients of the TV money would simply take that and then turn around and get NIL money on top of it.
Well, really no need arguing about, cats out of the bag and this is what everybody wanted!

I honestly haven't watched much on ZC. But as a rule of thumb, never put any faith in a QB throwing against air.
Hopefully this is a moot point come September and they tear it up on the field.
So you think air is all that he has thrown against?

Gus inherited a team that had just finished 6-5 under one of those previous coaches. He took them to a 9-4 season and a bowl win over SEC member Florida. All that while losing his NFL prospect QB to an injury before mid season. It would pay you to fact check before making silly statements.
Then why in the world would he be paid the amount of money that he was paid to leave!

I am a realist. There hasn’t been a whole lot of positivity in the football program since Harsin’s been hired. Should we make up positive things and be happy about them to feel good about our football program?
There is no doubt that is the way you see it but that doesn’t make it fact. I don’t think anyone thinks everything is going great but a lot of us see some positive and have some hope. We all know how you feel and don’t have to be reminded every day in every thread. We can even understand why you feel the way you do but sometimes you just need to give it a rest!

Yes, Harsin is making the new Auburn, more like the Kentucky of old.
I don’t mind having a conversation with anyone but your constant negative crap is getting old.

Ask and you shall receive.
Meh. Not lights out, bit a decent developmental prospect. Destined for a redshirt so we shall see if Harsin can "coach em up" if he survives his impending back to back losing seasons.
Applaud! That’s a really awesome positive attitude there!!

He must have been a 4 or 5 star! We only offer 3 star recruits.
For those that didn’t get it, I was being sarcastic! Not very good at it, I guess
