Bruce and an assistant went out to Napa yesterday to see Jalen Green. Per some insiders of a couple other boards, we're not out of it, and are really pressing to get him. Apparently Sharife has been on him too...

On one hand, I want him to be a one-and-done level talent, because that means big things for the team in 2020-2021. On the other, however, I hope he's at the highest level he can be without wanting to enter the draft the next season. I really want to see Coop, Okoro, Stretch, and Cambridge play with each other in college. Whatever happens, I hope Sharife Cooper is the number one player in the NBA in the 2024-2025 season.

If he wants to commit before Nov 12, we’re getting him on campus at a GREAT time

Not sure what in the world we could get in trouble for now, but let's say we do. Auburn has put out a statement that basically tells the NCAA "we know you're gonna screw with us..... don't screw with us..." I just wonder what our compliance department would do. I really hope we wouldn't just lay down and take our penalty.

This seemed out of nowhere. Apparently he was blown away by the NC visit and has always liked them. Dang that hurts. Man I want a high star b-ball commit so bad we’re so close with some of these guys I can taste it

Yep. He’s definitely an insider but also seems to have a few of these sometimes where he’s sold on a guy. I know these recruits can also shock coaches sometimes and a guy they thought they had just up and vanishes. Oh well, plenty of other big recruits out there to go get.

Bo's been good. Will only get better. Every great QB has a game that serves as their "coming out party." While the last play against Oregon was awesome, I still believe we are going to get a game where Bo absolutely picks apart a team in a game that should be competitive, but is not because of this come-on-the-scene performance by the freshman QB. Can't wait to see him pick apart the Aggies.

3rd ranked overall player in the country down to Memphis, Oregon and AU. Some say UCLA is involved but no OV has been set. Bruce Pearl and co. are in TODAY. We may have some ground to make up on Memphis and Oregon, but if the in-home goes well today, that could change quickly. Jalen Green will visit AU Sept. 26-29 (Miss State game weekend).

It's funny, on twitter and some other national sites, it seems like the assumption is that Kessler is going to Duke and that he's possibly already a silent commitment for them, but there's really not much of a shred of evidence that this is the case. We have seemed pretty confident that we will land Kessler for a while
