Stars and  rankings are not a great measuring stick necessarily. GA has a walk on QB who’s won one Natty and has burned Tennessee throwing the ball to a 2 star wide receiver. In the end it’s about drive and coaching. I don’t see anyone touching UGA again this year. I live in GA and can’t stand them, so it’s even worse going through another crappy season as an AU fan. We’ve just never had any consistency in winning.

Overall they are a pretty good indicator.  Just because you can point out outliers it doesn't mean the entire system is flawed.

good luck with that.  i don't do twitter but hasn't he tweeted some odd things about the team or something along those lines this year?  seems i recall my buddy telling me that.

anyway, good luck to him in future endeavors.  unless he graduates, he must transfer DOWN to be eligible without sitting, right?

Yes, he has whined about both the OL and Ashford on social media.  His father went on a fairly prominent podcast and was whining.

Bammer has had more talent on the field than any team they have faced, pretty much, for 10 years....

They should win every single game that they play based on who has the best players..

They basically have.  No team will ever be perfect over a 1.5+ decades but they have only lost 26 games in the last 16 years with 8 of those being in year 1 and 2.

So basically this is a list of teams ranked 1-25 with the Alabama having the most cumulative points based on 247 ratings and their current record?  Does this take into account the players Auburn has lost?

It's based on Rivals rankings of the rosters at the beginning of this season.

    No. No. And No!

Paul Johnson was pretty good at this and his best teams could not win against the top defenses. And when you finally do get tired of it, and you will, there is absolutely nothing left in the cupboard. If you think OL recruiting is bad now....

This.  These types of offenses do nothing to prepare OL (and other positions) for the NFL.

  6. Shows how far we've fallen and also how we've managed to do less with more than other teams.  This of course does not take into account positions and most of these teams have a much better OL than we do.  It also does not take the portal into account, but it's our own fault we haven't done better there as well.

EDIT:  This is based on the rosters for each team at the beginning of this season.

This comes from a rival college football site and shows who gets the most from their talent

to be fair my bama friends say lane is not coming. he is dating a professors daughter and is madly in love at the moment. as always take it with a grain of salt.

Bama would hire the professor and give his daughter a house on Lake Martin if that's what it took.

i suffer from depression and ocd and anxiety and it is just not that simple. you should not be so flippant to what you apparently do not understand. people have different triggers that send them into the abyss. i can imagine you saying that is probably hurtful to him. is it necessary?

I'm bipolar combined with an anxiety disorder.  I'm not flippant.  I should have added seek help to the end of my statement though.

I didn’t see that. I do remember this Tweet.

“You best believe I will address that LIE Coach SABAN told tomorrow. I was & awakened by my son @ShedeurSanders that sent me the article stating that WE PAYED @TravisHunterJr a Million to play at @GoJSUTigersFB ! We as a PEOPLE don’t have to pay our PEOPLE to play with our PEOPLE“

    This is from yesterday:

“I’d be a fool and liar to tell you I’m not going entertain those things because I am. But I have made no plans to move.”

Deion Sanders said 'he will entertain' offers and Auburn is in need (saturdayblitz.com)

I don’t even know if he can coach. I just don’t think he would come to Auburn. He seems to be doing this for something other than money.

He's said, and I'm paraphrasing, that he'd be a fool not to listen to offers from P5 schools.

Robby saw the field before TJ got hurt. They were splitting time at QB early in the season.

Calzada probably would've been benched behind this OL as well. Let's not act like he was actually good at TAMU

I think the jury is still out on Calzada and am not willing to write him off until he can go through a Spring and Fall while healthy.  He certainly was not a world beater in his first year of starting at aTm though.
