Oh, for sure. And his piece on it was way over the top. He might have actually done us a favor. The rest of the local media might be like, uh, I don't want to get lumped in with that douchebag.

Dude doesn't even try to hide his bias.... although he did remove the pic of Bryant Denney from his Twitter feed after a gozillion folks called him out.

Apparently the editors at Alabama Media Group think the whole site is a giant op-ed column- I want reporting, not opinion.

Probably not in the same way, but that is about the power dynamic in the state and not about whether or not Harsin handled this in a manner deserving of negative media coverage. (He did.)

............ Depending on your view of the subject.

A bit of an odd moment. Doesn't Harsin understand that the students are there to attend class and may not necessarily be fans of a certain chicken sandwich chain?

Yeah... he should pass out hats or something.

I agree if it gets to just name calling or something then yes probably need to shut things down, but if it's a discussion it should by all means continue. That's when the learning happens, in the discussion. The most brilliant minds and all of the upper tier professions where you would think are filled with super smart people incorporate learning using that particular process.

So yes name calling end it, but just because it's long or because the sides doesn't agree? That's stupid imo

I don't have a side either, I don't even know what the disagreement is but I do know I can't stand when a discussion is being had then a person who haven't even read the discussion comes in and complains to shut it down.  I can't stand it for a couple of reasons

One guarantee that person has had a point where they have went back and forth with someone, so that means they are essentially saying I'll have my exchange but you aren't important enough to have yours

Second if that person don't want to read it, they don't have to! If they then make an argument of complaining they had to click and extra button or had to read some extra sentences, I feel they should be called names after that.

And if everybody has to agree what does that consists of? Just wherever posts first sets the tone and you have to agree? I just don't see why a person would come to a forum and have a problem with seeing different opinions on it.

Just my opinion, but of you cant handle someone calling you names on the internet, then it is probably best to not try to enter into arguments there.  If someone is being a meanie-face, then they should by all means be told so.

Cam was special. Just something about Nick that had me in awe. You would hold your breath ever time he had the ball in his hands. 2013 was my favorite season, beside 2010, that I had since I'd say 1993. Loved 2004 but that 2013 year was amazing.

1993 UF game was one of the most amazing football games I've ever seen in person. Something about that whole day. The fog rolling in, the game, the atmosphere. Unreal.

Agree about Nick.... Kid was slicker than a fresh bass and had an uncanny ability to pull a big play out of his ass in seemingly impossible conditions.  When you have a player that can turn a busted play into a big play like that, it can cover up some coaching weaknesses.
