disagreeing with mikey is fine but treating him like a leper is not.
Whilst I can appreciate you sticking up for the guy, he made his bed, and I assume he is a grown ass man that can deal with the consequences of his actions and fight his own fights and whatnot.

Co-Worker came back from a late lunch (AU Alum) and told me that a caller was telling Paul tat CGM was about to take a leave of Absence from UCF and then Paul dumped the call with a "if you are going ruin a career, you need evidence" or something like that.
did anyone else hear this?

Great article about this kid- really liked what his dad had to say:
“We’re gonna compete,” Davis Sr said. “We’re going to fight, and we’re going to scratch, and we’re going to get our diploma, our education. That’s why we started this — for a free education — and we’re not going to tuck tail and run and go play quarterback at another place.”
“And then once his opportunity arrives, when his number’s called and he runs on that field, he won’t run off again until he’s done with his Auburn career,”
I kinda wanna run through a wall now after reading that.

haha that was a major draw, we had a house on a lake booked last year, but . . .
So far we have done UGA, WVU (in an RV in late OCT, generator froze), LSU, now Auburn. The majority of us are from the North originally so we have seen most of what the Big 10 has to offer.
Once you get 4-6 dedicated travelers it gets pretty easy, and cost effective.
What atmosphere did you enjoy the most?
Best Fans?
Prettiest campus?
sorry or all the questions....

Thanks! We secured a house about a 10 min walk from the stadium so we figure we will be walking everywhere, have had success bouncing around other years, so was curious how it works in Auburn. The good news is we bring luck, last two visits those teams have gone to the CFB championship, and we chose Auburn this year over a Clemson trip.
You chose well.... They refer to Clemson as 'Auburn with a Lake.'.... And we definitely need the luck
Where are you located, and where all have you gone? Always thought doing a guys trip every year to a different place would be really cool.

It is pretty easy to navigate around.... If I knew what our situation was as far as our tailgate this year, I'd invite your group to our corporate tailgate, but we still hae yet to make a decision about what we are gonna do.
If you can find favorable parking, you will make friends fast in Auburn as far as a tailgate goes.

There are a pile of bars/eateries on and around College street to check out on gameday. Get a Lemonade at Toomers, a BBQ Sandiwich at Byrons and make sure to get into the stadium early enough to see the Eagle fly.

His film seems to indicate that his 3 star rating may be a bit on the low side.

All of the top schools have passed on this kid. He has lots and lots and lots of baggage. Huge risk. When Saban passes on a kid because of baggage, well you get the picture. That is where we are right now.
FWIW.
But clearly we can handle problems such as this easily...... We have a great track record of doing so, right? 😳

Kinda figured he would find a more well known program given his talent level.

Well then, let’s keep it Hamilton style.
I have the honor to be your obedient servant, B dot Hamm.
Give me some Brod. Hamm!!!
Let’s go!!!!! (Runs through wall)
He has possibly the most intimidating name in football. I have followed his journey since he was a recruit-cant wait to see him play this year. Got to meet him at A-Day last year, super good kid.

Striaght Baller.... our backfield was insane during that time.

Some guys at work and I were discussing the whole Pickens fiasco. I have been calling for a flip since the beginning of the season when Hoover and PV were on ESPN- Something never really felt right about him.
So you have this kid, who is committed to the same school as the #1 QB in the sate- he is obviously this OB's favorite target in every all star game around- helping his stock rise despite rumblings about his grades and whatnot. Is it possible that he stayed "committed" AU so he would keep getting targets on the big stage to help his own stock?

I'm sure it took more then a few dollars to get George AND his family to become ug fans. Just remember, ug and Pickens comes to Auburn this yer. Let's show him what he could have been apart of.
Junior Rosegreen honorary captian?

If everyone has the right to post what they believe, and they believe he is a douche, it isn't badgering. It is posting what they believe in.
