Dismukes from what I have heard had an issue with a knee and possibly had surgery. Last weekend Lowe appeared to be getting a lot of attention to her wrist and elbow. Even had a brace on.... And supposedly Yarborough is nursing some arm issue as well. I hope they all get well soon as Texas A&M is around the corner!!!!

With the exception of Clearwater I think the teams this year have been easier thus far with the exception of ULM and who they are playing. Southern Miss did upset UF so may the mid Majors are improving with the portal.
-
First ULM pitcher gave us fits. Once she came out we appeared to have a better shot and ULM has evidently been used to the 70 mph fastball.. Glad we are done with them...
-
Why steal 3rd for an out? Next pitch was a wild pitch/passed ball which would have moved the runner to 3rd.... then a fly out to the outfield that would have scored a run.

Softball vs Jacksonville State

I would agree with UCLA, Texas, Texas Tech, Wisconsin, and USF. If we can keep hitting and scoring .....and get ALL the pitchers healthy... this could be a wild season!!! -
Spot on!!!
-
UCLA is just more experienced and faster!! I will give credit where it's due.
-
Yarborough is struggling and coming off injury. Lowe struggled, Penta struggled and we had balls dropping in the outfield, couldn't get to where we needed to be. Young team and game was too fast for them!!
-
Well we had people out of position and made lots of mental mistakes. Showed how young we are!!
-
Good test will be tomorrow and Texas was beat 9-2 by FSU right before they played AU!

Texas pitcher is legit and we centered her up! Let's see how this one turns out!
-
Well this Texas Tech team lost 3 in a row to Oklahoma in 2021 by a total of 40-0.... TX Tech pitching appeared mediocre at best.. Still early and let's see how we do against UCLA as that will be a good litmus test for the them.

We seem to hit well this weekend. Going to be interesting to see how we swing it against Power 5 teams this week. -

Lisenby was in the game today as I recall seeing her on the field. Falisi was not dressed out. -

I tend to agree with Lowe getting a nod for UCLA or Texas. Penta will do good throwing the games against mid-majors. Throwing hard and flat does NOT get it done. Liked the pitching and offense in the fall this year. Didn’t Yarbrough throw against UCLA out in California in 2020 prior to covid...it will probably be Lowe, Yarbrough, Dismukes, Penta ..... IMO -
Lisenby has been very impressive from what I have seen and read as well. It appears the pitching will be there this year as Lowe, Yarbrough, and Dismukes had good showings this fall. Penta still needs a lot of development in moving vertical throughout the zone. Going to be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Pitching will be there I believe.. big question to be answered is can we score the runs against the better pitching come spring and SEC play. JMO

I don't seem to recall us having a fall last year due to covid. I thought it was nothing but scrimmages and telescopic streaming.

The team we played was 3 and 37 last year
-
She was there and dressed out. Appears she is wearing #9 this year. Looks like she was warming up in the bull pen but have not heard or seen her in games. Godwin wasn't in the lineup this weekend either and it appears Cox has been moved to 3rd and saw some action in RF....
