What makes you so confident? Kentucky will provide more NIL money, a bigger salary and Rupp Arena which are great assets. What is BP's buyout? I hope he stays, but I wouldn't be shock if he leaves.
He’s 65. Why would he want that headache?

Now we need a back up 5, similar to Cheney last year in that he can learn and be ready to take over once those two leave.
Does that mean Broome is gone?

Not being funny or rude, but how can you possibly be surprised we are looking at a transfer PG?
Between Aden, Tre and Pettiford, I thought we could find a PG.

I’m surprised we’re looking at a transfer Guard. Do we expect another G to leave?

Of course KD is going.
we have two point guards and two shooting guards already. We and KD will both benefit from him leaving we are a better team than when he initially joined. He will do better elsewhere and we will do better here. Auburn is on the precipice I think. Pearl is about to make us competitive nationally. He just needs to hit on a couple more pieces
Didn’t he initially join the best team in Auburn history?

I’d assume we’re an ideal spot for transfer 5s. Is there anyone of interest beside the Rutgers kid?

If 4 teams finish 13-5, what happens? Who gets the 5 seed?

Can someone explain why Bama is ahead of us in the bracket preview and all the bracketology sites? Unless I’m missing something, their best win is against us and then we pasted them at Auburn. Is getting your ass beat by every good team a reason to be ranked so highly. Honestly, Tennessee doesn’t seem much different, but at least they’ve beat Wisconsin and Illinois

I thought it was a well established fact that Auburn is a basketball blue blood. We can quibble over whether Duke should still be included after Coach K retired.

How disappointing. Were there not any DCs candidates who don’t ignore a player’s health until they die?

How high do we climb. A lot of teams ahead of us lost this week: Memphis, Duke, Wisconsin, Baylor. Also no reason we shouldn’t be ahead of Arizona and Kentucky. Maybe Kansas falling below us is too much to expect.

Williams decommitted from Bama. Looks like we’re his last visit too.

Weird that he announced it today. Wonder if he’ll do a farewell season or just be done?
He doesn’t seem like a farewell season guy.

Wrt on the field coaching.....
This is completely fair. The NM St and Maryland games were embarrassing. They looked unprepared. The 4th and 31 defense, with rushing only 2, was the worst play I’ve ever witnessed. If he’s not looking to upgrade the QB position, he should be held accountable for what happens at QB next year.

If he believes in himself to find the right situation as an undrafted free agent it’s probably the right move. Probably gonna be a lot fewer carries next year with the WR class we have.

I think Napier is fired mid season. Their schedule next year is absolutely the most brutal I think I have ever seen.
This is an article from a UF site and gives some insight into that program and how mismanaged it has been under Napier, specifically with the staff. It’s a complete mess.
There is also a lot of chatter DJ Lagway is looking around. Apparently he started following some Texas A&M sites. This class is already starting to fall apart, and if he loses Lagway that might be the death knell for him.
That’s a potential 3-9, 2-10 schedule. Samford is the only guarantee.

No SEC school should be in if Michigan and FSU win.

Geez dude, just asked a question. And I was born in 72.
frank was good and above average, made catches when it counted for sure.I was born in 80. I still know about Beasley.

It’s odd seeing all these prediction with Auburn scoring more than 20 points. How many Pick 6s can Simpson get in one game?

When was the last time (or have we really ever) had a true game breaker all star WR?
Frank Sanders. Obviously Terry Beasley so not sure why you would ask if we’ve ever had one.

If Auburn wins tomorrow, they will most likely be 8-3 heading into the IB. No one will remember nor care about the complaining. Winning fixes everything.
But there’s no reason to think that’s the case based on anything we’ve seen this year. The offense is completely incapable of passing and our running situation has got worse from last year. If Freeze took a look at his QB room and thought this would work, I’m concerned. If he just couldn’t get anyone better here, I understand. I thought he might be able to coach up what we have on offense, but this offense take me back to the 3-2 dark ages.

I’ll be disappointed with anything less than 9-3. I guess you have to allow for losses to Georgia and Bama but nobody else on our schedule should be better than us. No LSU and no Ole Miss. At Mizzou and home against Oklahoma will be tough but we shouldn’t be losing all 4 of those games.
I’m interested in how quickly Thorne gets pulled if he doesn’t show big improvement on last season. There’s no reason Freeze shouldn’t have someone ready to step in after a couple of games.
