The reason why Auburn will have to wait till 2025 to see results is because we still have another group to transfer OUT. It is not just recruiting in but also getting rid of the bad talent.

I know we had some stinker ball games last year, but look at the players who took up space and could not play the game at a high level. They were the reason for 6 losses.

The only quality team listed below is LSU. USC and South Carolina would be next tier. Our talent is about on par with those teams. Everyone else is low tier.

    It is a churning process.

    WHERE AUBURN TRANSFERS LANDED

    • QB Robby Ashford: South Carolina

    • WR Malcolm Johnson Jr.: Bowling Green

    • WR Omari Kelly: Middle Tennessee State

    • WR Jyaire Shorter: Memphis

    • TE Tyler Fromm: Georgia Southern

    • DT Enyce Sledge: Illinois

    • DT Stephen Johnson: McNeese State

    • DB Donovan Kaufman: NC State

    • DB Austin Ausberry: LSU

    • EDGE Brenton Williams: Liberty

    • WR Jay Fair: USC

    • CB Colton Hood: Colorado

    • S Marquise Gilbert: TBD

    • DE Wilky Denaud: TBD

    • EDGE Stephen Sings V: TBD

    • LB Cam Riley: TBD Probably UCF?

    • WR Ja'Varrius Johnson: TBD

    • LB Wesley Steiner: TBD

    • CB J.D. Rhym: TBD

Also, Ausberry's dad works at LSU

WR | I still expect two more receivers to hit the portal and we want to add at least one more from the portal. Though I haven't seen any buzz recently

    Moore is in the portal

LB | We would like to add one more on the interior. South Alabama's Khalil Jacobs just visited on the 30th and has received an offer.

    Feeling very good

DB:  I think we may be looking at a Safety as well

Haven't talked to his dad the last few weeks. I'm pretty sure it will depend on how his work outs go. I'm hoping something works out and he gets on at Dallas

That'd be so cool for you!  I'd definitely drive over when y'all play the Spurs

Some posters here act like Nix was a flop at AU. In 2&1/2 seasons he set AU's all-time total offense record. A record that Stan White set as a four-year starter. Nix holds the AU record for consecutive passes without an interception. When he set that record, the mark he broke was his own. Yes, Nix holds the top TWO records in AU history for consecutive passes without an interception. Have many forgotten all of the key 1st downs and TD's he made running the ball? He was better at Oregon because of better coaching and a better supporting cast but he was very, very good at AU.

As someone who watched several of his games at Oregon, I'm not at all surprised that Bo Nix went very high in the draft.

To be fair, he didn't come close to Stan's passing records.

Also hard to throw an INT when you basically only throw Wr screens. His passing chart was pretty mundane at AU

    we aren’t a playoff team

    Auburn Football Schedule 2024

    Aug. 31 vs. Ala. A&M
    Sept. 7 vs. California
    Sept. 14 vs. New Mexico
    Sept. 21 vs. Arkansas
    Sept. 28 vs. Oklahoma
    Oct. 5 at Georgia
    Oct. 12 Idle
    Oct. 19 at Missouri
    Oct. 26 at Kentucky
    Nov. 2 vs. Vanderbilt
    Nov. 9 Idle
    Nov. 16 vs. UL Monroe
    Nov. 23 vs. Texas A&M
    Nov. 30 at Alabama
    Dec. 7 SEC Championship

I have us 5-0 going into UGA.

    A loss at UGA

Mizzou is gonna be tough and most likely a L, but the bye helps us tremendously

    Wins vs UK, Vandy

TAMU is a toss up, but at home I lean W.

    That's 7-3 to 9-1 going into Bama.

Hood stings a little but not as much as some might think. Keionte Scott, Kayin Lee, Champ Anthony, Jay Crawford, and Jerrin Thomson are all ahead of him for me. I’d like to see Auburn get longer at corner too instead of 5’11” I’d love to see more rangey 6’2” guys. Makes a difference.

    Don't forget about Kite
