Will be interesting to watch Hastings play. Kid is very smart but very small. Not a lot of natural talent, but has super glue hands, runs great routes and knows how to get open quick.

I would be interested in what Van Gorder's strategy was with ND or if they just out manned them on the D-line. Besides the early going they held the line until the end in a very hostile environment. ND would have won that game at home.

The kid can throw. Most of the time he had no protection since it was third and long. If he is not the starter, then JF3 is going to be one awesome QB.

There were several saying Woody looked lost during the scrimmage. This is highly doubtful unless its a mid-season 'we have lost all hope' move.

I think this is exactly what we will see. Sean is accurate and is the best option on 3rd and long. Too risky with a guy who hasn't started at QB in 3 years.

There were several plays last year, that if White had taken the run option, he had an open field, but I think they were so worried about him getting injured, they played it safe. This year, I think since the competition is so close, he would run White more if he is indeed the starter as he has capable backups. It really makes you scratch your head hearing him say that as his recruiting before did not indicate he wanted a running QB (Queen and White) and now we have turned a 180 and are behind on development time.
