Zachery’s end around

Terrell Zachery’s reverse was quite effective last year. I don’t recall it ever being stopped. I think it was attempted 9 times, averaging 23.8 yards per carry last season. We’ve seen it attempted this year already on several occasions, but it just hasn’t developed into the same defense-gashing type play that it was last year. I’m not sure, but this play may even be in the negative yardage at this point.

I just wanted to get some input as to why it hasn't been as productive this season. Is the play just taking longer to develop now? It seems like the offense is overdue to have a big end around from T-Zac on Saturday. I just have a gut feeling…

I believe it is slow developing and the other teams know that we have the possibility of pulling something like that out.  These teams are on edge when they play us because we got a reputation last year from the magic plays.  The Auburn Magic Cats....kinda like it.  lol
