This is a weak regional imo next highest ranked team is #15 UNLV. If we don't make it out of this region I am going to be one pissed off golfer.

The No. 3 Auburn men’s golf team earned a one seed in the 14-team NCAA Greensboro Regional to be played at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C., May 17-19. Four of the nation’s top 25 teams in the Golfweek rankings are in the Greensboro Regional.

The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams qualify for the 116th NCAA Men’s Golf Championship at Riveria Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., May 29-June 3.

Auburn is led by junior All-American Blayne Barber who has the lowest scoring average in the SEC among active players at 70.66). All-SEC Will McCurdy’s stroke average is 72.00 followed by All-SEC Dominic Bozzelli (72.04), All-SEC Niclas Carlsson (72.26), Freshman All-SEC Michael Johnson (72.30), Michael Hebert (73.51) and Blake Soni (71.66).

The Tigers are making their 21st overall appearance in the last 23 years as third-year head coach Nick Clinard has led the Tigers to three-straight NCAA Regional appearances.

“We are looking forward to playing in Greensboro,” said Clinard. “We are trying to win a NCAA Regional.”

The Greensboro Regional teams in order of seeding include No. 15 UNLV, No. 18 Florida, No. 19 Duke, Indiana, Liberty (Big South), SMU, Texas Tech, Tulsa, Lamar, Louisiana-Lafayette, Charlotte, George Washington (Atlantic 10), and Mount St. Mary’s (Northeast Conference).

Individuals in the Greensboro Regional include Campbell’s Vaita Guillaume, Stetson’s Sam Ryder, East Tennessee State’s Rhys Enoch, Samford’s Casey O’Toole, and Sacred heart’s Leo Garcia.

Eight SEC teams qualified for the Regionals, including No. 2 Alabama and No. 25 Georgia at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Ga.; No. 3 Auburn and No. 18 Florida in the at the Grandover Resort (East Course) in Greensboro, N.C.; No. 10 Arkansas at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Ky., South Carolina at Jimmy Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, Okla.; and No. 23 LSU and Tennessee at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif.

Auburn has three tournament wins this year in the Carpet Capital Collegiate, the Gator Invitational and the Hootie at Bulls Bay while Bozzelli had back-to-back wins at the U.S. Collegiate and the Gator Invitational while Carlsson won the Hootie at Bulls Bay. Barber currently has the lowest single-season stroke average in Auburn history at 70.66, edging out Buddy Gardner’s 70.90 in 1976.

OK golf...you can relax...they're moving along to the finals.  Got off to a rocky start but finished strong to get in the top 5.    As for the rankings, I'm not sure  it means much since the team score is actually a total of individual play and you just never know whether two guys will  have an off day at the same time.

I don't know about you but I play about 3 times per week and every day it's an adventure.
