AUloggerhead 2,267
I don't have a problem with it. I haven't been worried about polls so far. Now we're getting close to where it matters, but Auburn will certainly be no worse than #3 with a win over Mizzou. We can't reasonably ask for better if there are two undefeateds ahead of us. Behind all this, I've always thought everyone puts way too much on national championships. It diminishes every game that doesn't involve an unbeaten. I enjoy every game. I sure would love winning a natty, even playing for one. But I'm focused on how awesome this season has been. I enjoy each game for what it is too. Stopped obsessing about polls in 1984 after #5 Miami jumped #3 AU to be anointed MNC when both teams had won their bowl games and both #1 & #2 had lost. Polls mean nothing. Beating teams on the field are what really counts.
