TitanTiger 20,509
Yep, by the time the polls come out tomorrow, OU will have beaten only one top 25 team: Texas. The rest were a mediocre bunch of mush. Meanwhile, Auburn has beaten 3 teams in the top 15 (one of them top 10), all with 9-2 records, and we dominated two of them. The other just went out and hung 43 on Arkansas yesterday...the same Arkansas that was a Matt Jones fumble away from knocking off Texass. I'm tired of the OU strength of schedule argument because it's a load of crap.
AUbirdie 0
texas tech will probably be in the top 25 after this win. they were already recieving a lot of votes. this would give oklahoma three top 25 wins , texas, texas a&m, and texas tech. TitanTiger 20,509
A&M will drop out with the loss to Texas, more than likely. They could hang on.
AUbirdie 0
i doubt it they were 22 in both and with a lot of teams behind them losing they will probably end up about 24 or 25. but hopefully they will drop.
TitanTiger 20,509
At best, OU has beaten a couple of four loss teams hanging on to the top 25 by their fingernails in addition to a quality win over Texass. Meanwhile, we pound two top 15 teams and beat three in all, but OU has an SOS edge? Only because the computers are on crack.
MrMoJo 0
wishfully thinking guys, it was over last week. the closest we ever got to the orange bowl was when the fans threw out oranges on the field at the bammer game..................... LegalEagle 22
I read the other day that one, some, all? of the computer polls judge how many top 40 teams you play! Not top 25 or top 10. If that's true, the polls are even more rediculous.
