According to AuburnSports the following players are remaining top 10 recruiting targets for AU including comments:

Jemarcus Ricks DL 6-4 290`Leighton, Al. "He doesn't claim a leader heading into t his week-end and likely won't name one until he makes a commitment. His visit this week-end, along with his brother Courtney Hardin already on the Tiger roster, should put Auburn in the drivers seat to win out in a close one."

Deantwan Whitehead DE, 6-6 245, West End, Alabama. " Auburn will head into the week-end with a slight lead for Whitehead and could build on that with a good visit. It Should come down to Auburn and Alabama for this in-state star. Auburn currently is the team to beat, butit will be a big time battle for Whitehead. Stanley McClover departing for the NFL is another advantage for Auburn."

Charles Deas DL/OL 6-4 315, Ft.Lauderdale, Fla. "He's yet to name a leader among Auburn, LSU, Nebraska, Georgia and Florida State, but the Tigers have the ace up its sleeve with close friend and former teammate Pat Sims back on the team. His visit this week-end could go a long way in Auburn solidifying itself as the team to beat down the home stretch."

Tim Hawthorne WR 6-2 200, Homewood, Alabama. "Hawthorne has consistently held the cards close to the vest. Many believe his decision will come down to Auburn Georgia and Alabama."

Bryant MIller, DE 6-3 235, Miami, Florida. "Miami hasn't been recruiting him very hard, but according to Miller, it doesn't matter. If Miami shows up on Signing day with an offer, he'd likely accept it. If not, I like Auburn's chances." PERSONAL NOTE: IMO I'd think 3 times about an offer to someone who considered us second best................JMO.

Mike Berry, OL 6-3 295, Nashville, Tenn. " Auburn likely picks up a commit early next week."

Byron Isom, OL/DL 6-2 255, Lovejoy, Georgia. " He'll decide between the Tigers and Gamecocks and will visit Columbia this week-end. He'll decide between the two early next week. Auburn enters the week-end with a huge lead. May be only a matter oftime before Isom pledges to t he Tigers."

Aram Olson, Fullback, 6-1 240, Columbia, SC. "This week-end will mark the third trip tothe plains for Olson in the last seven weeks. Auburn has made a huge push for him and appear to the the team to b eat now."

Michael Goggans, TE, 6-2 250, Alex City, Ala. "An early commit to UT, Goggans has been shaky on that pledge ever since.. Auburn and Alabama have both made strides but the vols are still hanging on. Auburn wants Goggans and will take h im if they can get him. The Tigers still have ground to make up, but could make a strong push in the end."

Alex Mullins, DL, 6-2 270, Wendall, NC. "He has a top four, but Mullins is likely down to a top two in Auburn and Tennessee. He will visit Tennessee this week-end as Auburn holds it's breath. Auburn sent Tommy Tuberville to North Carolina last week to try and leave an impression. If Mullins doesn't commit to Tennessee this week-end, Tuberville's trip will have been worth it. It will be hard to pull Mullins away from Tennessee if Tuberville's visit didn't make a great impression."

There was no mention of Andre Smith who many belive is a Bammer lock and only waiting for others in similar positions to commit without feeling threatened, nor was there a mention of such prospects as Cordera Eason who many feel will wind up at Ole Piss. Corey Peters will probably come down between AU and UK. Of course, some remain as possible secret commits.

OFF THE RADAR: Adam Patterson, DL 6-2 260, Columbia, SC

Craig Stevens LB 6-3 210, Tallahassee, Fla.

ON THE BUBBLE: Geno Atkins, DL 6-3 270, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Mike Blanc, OL/DL 6-4 265, Tallahassee, Fla.

Do you guys have anything to add to this? Keep us informed.

Looks like it could be a great year.l.. :cheer::au:
