big dude 0 Posted May 30, 2006 Share Posted May 30, 2006 I asked him for his autograph (second year in a row). I, of course, was wearing an AU hat and he said, "Hey, I like your hat." "Thanks, Tommy. I like your shirt. (An Under Armor golf shirt) When are we gonna see the Auburn ones." "Very soon. Look for our commercial coming up real soon." "You da man, Tommy!" (Okay, not really! I have SOME couth.) Also, I know we had a contract with New Balance last year for shoes. Are we keeping that contract or will we be wearing Under Armor shoes. (The "Click. Clack." ones) And another observation. Will all our athletic teams be switching to Under Armor gear? I noticed this weekend that the Maryland Lacrosse team was wearing Under Armor gear. abrnfanatc 6 Posted May 30, 2006 Share Posted May 30, 2006 That is the biggest thing I noticed at last year's Pro-Am here in Bammerham. His back was hurting, so he didn't play. He did ride around in a cart, sign autographs, pose for pictures, give out hats, etc. I had a Bama fan friend with me who even came away completely impressed by his attitude and actions that day.
