AUChizad 0
I would guess that the same thing happens to Charles Barkley or Bo Jackson sometimes also. John Croyle ≠ Charles Barkley or Bo Jackson.

BamaGrad03 0
Few things here: John Croyle is a great great guy. If a Business offered me a free meal i would probably take it. Second: Dreamland kicks large amounts of ass. It not the best rib joint in the country, but it is top 5.
WinCrimson 61
Be a running back at Auburn, go to the NFL. Quarterback at Alabama, be a radio personality in Birmingham. Bingo! We have a winner! / win a national championship It all evens out.

John Croyle ≠ Charles Barkley or Bo Jackson. I did not say they were equals. We are talking about Tuscaloosa here, and in Tuscaloosa, he would be equal too either one of those guys. The point is that when you are a legend at the school you played for, you are going to get free meals, etc. around your university's town. So, I was pointing out to JD, that is not reason to criticize they guy. I have to agree with the fact that John Croyle has done some great things for alot of kids. Just because he played at UAT, I am not going to hold that against him as a person. Two of my best friends played baseball and football at UAT. Now, if we are talking about Ken Stabler or Joe Namath, then .
