Ranger12 46 Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 The Iterative Strength Ranking is basically a SOS ranking system that also takes into account your wins and losses as the season progresses. It ranks all 200+ Div-1 baseball teams and is a pretty good way to gauge your team against the rest of the country. BTW...UAT is #88. Link Also #1 in updated RPI. Link As with polls there are always flaws, but his polls seem to be more consistent then human polls. If you look at human polls, you will find that they all over the place when ranking teams. For instance in this past weeks polls UAT was ranked #13 in the NCBWA poll, in the 20s in most other polls, and not even ranked in the Baseball America poll. Our rankings were all over the place also, so I like what Boyd does and his rankings seem to give you a better snapshot of the college baseball scene.
