AURaptor 1,126 Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 Anyone recall this jewel from the Martha Burk protest of Augusta National, a few yrs ago ? ( Note the sign at top, centre ) . They anti-protestors were simply poking fun at the ridiculous claims of Ms Burk et al. It was suppose to be an over the top, laugh at ourselves moment, and in no way a commentary on real issues concerning women,etc.... Sadly, it's all but too clear that this time the heckler was likely a staged ploy by Mrs Clinton's handlers , at her own request, to remind folks she's the only girl running for President. Did you hear a sudden cascade of "booos " by the audience ? No, you didn't. Did you see a hurried rush by security to surround or apprehend this guy? Nope. What you saw was Hillary asking for the lights to be turned up, so EVERYONE could see this ' heckler' . It was then that Hillary was able to deliver her well rehersed line about (gasp) sexism!! Ya see, not many folks know this, but Hillary is the first female to run for the office of the President in the modern era. That means she's taking on the " old boy network " , the male dominiated power structure. Women are judges, astronauts, mayors, governors, doctors, c.e.o.s , senators, members of congress, college presidents, etc.....but not ONE has been THE President. Kerry tried to move on and ignore the guy. Clinton immediately jumps to the opportunity like she's the world's best improviser. Politicians need speech writers to survive. You would know their names, adresses, political affiliations, Boy Scout Troop Numbers, etc. They would be branded and shamed by the whole nation. Instead all we hear are crickets...
