Tigermike 3,078
What Does Jihad Mean? (Audio) It's not so much what it means in Arabic, but rather what it means in Islam. Here is an excellent 7-minute lecture on why "Jihad" has also meant 14 centuries of heartache to non-Muslims. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJwfdf6NWIA...feature=related Monthly Jihad Report February 2008 Jihad Attacks: 174 Countries: 14 Religions: 5 Dead Bodies: 1318 Critically Injured: 1460 Weekly Jihad Report Mar. 08 - Mar. 14 Jihad Attacks: 39 Dead Bodies: 161 Critically Injured: 414 Want to know more about the Religion of Peace? TigerHeat 9
2 Kings 10:25-27 Yes, the marauding hebrews have caused quite a worldwide ruckus over the past 2,000 years. Oh, wait, nevermind. That wasn't them. It was the ROPMA. The left's weak exercises in moral equivalency are entertaining. Go back to sleep....we'll wake you up when it's over. Of course, if we're not here anymore it means we lost and you'll have to attend prayers five times per day and work on the Five Pillars. And maybe get your head sawed off with a butterknife if your adoptive sect loses the future fights that are certain to be fought.

Tigermike 3,078
John 3:16 I am pretty sure that is not a call for a Jihad. Exactly and it shows your feeble attempts for what they are. You see what is in the Old Testament is in the Old Testament. Islamic terrorist murders are still living and operating and murdering under The Qur'an. autiger4life 3
Jihad: sometimes called the "sixth pillar of Islam," this word has two meanings: 1. The "greater jihad" is "striving" of any kind, particularly moral; the struggle to be a better person, a better Muslim, the struggle against drugs, against immorality, against infidelity, etc. 2. Holy war in agreement with the Shari'ah: only undertaken when the faith is threatened and at the approval of a religious authority such as a mullah, though this is a difficult distinction

Islam cannot abide with other faiths. How do Muslim "religious authorities" gain their authority? Who grants it? Why is it granted? If you answer those two questions you will understand the true essence of Islam.
