NRA goes up with its own "closing argument"

The NRA is going up in 10 battleground states with an featuring a tough-talking Chuck Norris touting the Second Amendment and warning against those unnamed politicians who have not supported gun rights.

"He’s an American badass," said Chris Cox, the NRA's chief lobbyist, of Norris.

Cox wouldn't say how much they were spending on the ad, but that it would be on broadcast and cable, cycled into a seven-figure buy they have up now.

They'll air the spot in Colorado, Nevada, Missouri, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The NRA has spent millions going after Barack Obama but even though the Norris ad is airing in some of the most hotly-contested presidential states this ad doesn't single out the Democratic nominee.

"This ad is showing that this issue is important in races all over country from state legislature all the way up to the presidential," said Cox, explaining the broad theme.

The spot is pure Norris camp, reminiscent of his popular primary ad for Mike Huckabee.

The only problem with checking the voting record is that many folks do not have the resources or time to check it. They rely on the media to keep us all informed. What they don't realize is that the media will not put anything out there that might endanger the ONE's chances.

Those of us with the means already know that achmed is sleeping with the Brady bunch.

If telling folks about the answer Joe the plumber's question being SOCIALISM doesn't affect the average government educated voter, then telling them the truth about achmed's hate of guns will not make a dent in the unGodly character of the ONE.

But thank you Chuck for standing up for us.
