Tuscaloser is really the cow capital of Alabama

Bammers like to make fun of all the cows in Auburn, but these statistics show Tuscaloser is really the cow capital of Alabama :lol:

Tuscaloosa is a huge county in terms of area. 1351 sq miles according to Wiki.

Lee is only 616 sq miles. For us to have oh, say, 500 more cows than you considering our size is fine. Tuscaloosa County is very rural outside of T-Town/Northport.

And FWIW, I've never seen cows in either Auburn or Tuscaloosa. That tired joke has more to do with AU's agriculture program than the number of cattle in the town.

It fells weird taking the other side of this argument, but it's hard to spend any time in Auburn without seeing cows, unless they moved the pastures.

And I've seen some cows in Tuscaloosa too, but they were all indoors. :rimshot:
