What a guy! Calls his shots earlier in the week and delivers with 4 FREAKIN PICKS. Is that a record or what? I've never heard of such from a single player. What a performance...I'm still in shock.

SEC defensive player of the Week...He has to be!

Jason Campbell, SEC offensive player of the week....

Has one school had two winners in the same week before?

David Green had 5 TD passes, I think he'll get the PoTW honors this week.

I think Junior is a lock for DPOTW

Greene also has a strong case for OPOTW, but obviously I am pulling hard for JC.

I know that he set the record for Auburn with 4 and tied the SEC mark of 4...

I don't know who had the Auburn record before him and I don't know who he shares the record with in the SEC.

UT's top receiver was Fayton with 4 rec for 49 yds...Rosegreen had more INT's than each of the rest of the Vol backs or receivers had receptions. :big:

What are/were the NCAA, SEC, and AU records for most picks by a single player in one game?

Admittedly, I was well into my cups (of singlemalt Scotch) by the last one, but I thought I saw ESPN flash a graphic saying it tied the national record.

Perhaps someone less enthused with the spirit can confirm this.

YOU THE MAN, JUNIOR regardless!

From the NCAA Football Records:

4 people have picked 5 in one game: Lee Cook (1942), Walt Pastuzak (1949), Byron Beaver (1962), Don Rebsch (1972). The record for picks in one season is 14 by Al Worley of Washington (1968.)

I don't think Jr has a chance at the season record unless we can face a couple of more teams with head coaches who can't choose between two QBs. :D
