Is Truitt supposed to be the answer at RB or just a gimmick ?

Good detailed factual information. I have to admit though, when you read the differences between the teams 2 offenses, it gets kind of scary, especially the skill positions.

I would imagine this is a scenario that when the entire 2nd O line comes onto the field, Kim would be the center. If there was a scenario where just XD left the game then I believe Golson moves over and we have a new tackle.

I guess this is pretty good indicator that Roberts is suspended.

I think you are right 64. Last year, Clemson threw for more yards in 9 games compared to running for more in 5 games

I guess you missed the point of the post. If the guy is not a household name, then is it someone you really want to compare to. It's designed to stimulate the conversation and for people to add useful information to the thread. Not "Google it".

While I agree on there seem to be an excessive amount of drops, there always those catches that should have been incompletions. Not sure if he had many or any of those last year, but I figure there were a few. I likened it to line drive outs versus bloop singles in baseball. They usually even out. Don't mean to show my ignorance but who is Baker Mayfield.

I don't particular disagree about JF3 playing QB later, but if we are winning games, you don't change QB's. You change QB's because things are not going good.

I agree that the same facts have been regurgitated all summer. Just to clarify my thoughts/position. I have never had any reason to know that JF3 was the better QB. I had no idea if he was or not. My contention/concern has been that our existing QB's were very average and I was hoping for better production from that position this coming year. It certainly looks as if one last years guys is going to be the starter. I tend to look at things from a very black and white perspective. I know both QB's had a different sets of issues (confidence, injury, etc). Even at their best I did not see much from either of our QB's last year to make me feel better about this year. I was hoping for a better talent to be on campus. Does not look like the case. Not counting on Woody yet. Just to young. It's just my opinion. I hope I am wrong. It certainly will not be the first time if I am.

I get it, when you lose the "facts" argument you get tired of it and want to move on.

I get the highlights from the MSU game. We lost. We scored 9 pts. Our offense gained less than 400 yds. Is that what we are hoping/looking for? Is that our expectation?

Why did you do that. I referenced the bowl game where Gus said our QB's were 100%. His performance was not winning football and kept Memphis in the ball game. I really did not see much difference between SW and JJ last year. Before the bowl game Gus said our QB's were a 100%. What do you know that Gus did not?

And if SW performs as he did in the bowl game the result is the same. The point is, there is not much difference between JJ and SW as far as results last year. JJ has far more physical talent that I would think could help him. I have come to the realization that it will be one of JJ and SW and I believe that leads to a very average year. I do believe that no matter what Gus has another year. It is up to Gus to get the talent to AU, but at them moment our skill position talent is very average. There is a lot of potential that is young, but I would think they will not make very much contribution until later this year or next year.

2 trains of thought on the transfer to me. 1. He is going to get his grades in order to be able to get in next year, OR he is trying to upgrade the talent he faces to be one and done.

The BJ Upton contract is just killer. The Braves evidently have to hang on to him for a few more years. They are still paying Uggla. While I like Heyward, he has underperformed a little over the last couple of years. Batting leadoff did him no favors though. He was going to a free agent next year and could very well have lost him anyway without getting anything for him.

Typical August swoon for them.

Well I hate to see these guys go if they do. I think for certain that McCann goes but it would be nice to see Hudson come back and make some additional contributions for he Braves.
