So according to Democrats and others who wanted Shokin removed, he was removed at least partly because he wouldn't investigate Burisma but Shokin's replacement publicly closed the investigation. Why didn't VP Joe try to get Shokin's replacement removed before he left office? In case you wanted to know how serious Ukraine was in dealing with corruption after they removed Shokin, the replacement wasn't even a lawyer. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-ukraine-parliament-prosecutor-idUSKCN0Y311A

Watch this video of the prosecutor Biden got removed. The video is apparently from a few years ago From February-November 2015 Shokin had been meeting with various European government officials and a few US officials that told him he was doing a good job and even received a letter in June 2015 from Victoria Nuland on behalf of then Secretary of State John Kerry saying how they wanted to continue to work him on an anti-corruption agenda. Yet by November 2015, VP Joe Biden was calling Shokin corrupt and demanding his removal. If he was so corrupt why was Biden the first one publicly going against him?

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9757117/Hunter-Biden-complained-half-salary-went-paying-Joes-bills.html In a 2018 email to one his own assistants, Hunter complained that he had been shut out of his own bank account and that his father had been using it. 'Too many cooks in the kitchen. Too many profile changes and such. Happened 10 days ago too... 'My dad has been using most lines on this account which I’ve through the gracious offerings of Eric have paid for past 11 years,' he said.

Under questioning from Democratic lawyers, Archer mused that “I think Burisma would have gone out of business if it didn’t have the brand attached to it.” “I think that’s why it was able to survive as long as it did,” he added under interrogation from Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY). “Well, I don’t understand. How does that have an impact?” Goldman asked. “Well, the capabilities to navigate DC that they were able to, you know, basically be in the news cycle. And I think that preserved them from a, you know, from a longevity standpoint,” Archer added. “But how would that work?” the Democrat pressed. “Because people would be intimidated to mess with them,” responded Archer, clarifying “legally” when Goldman asked “in what way” they would be intimidated. https://nypost.com/2023/08/03/devon-archer-burisma-hired-hunter-biden-so-people-would-be-intimidated-to-mess-with-them/

I wonder why the investigative standards are so drastically different for Biden than for Trump? The DOJ investigated every single allegation against Trump and his associates for Russiagate, even obtaining FISA warrants on Carter Page based off of the Steele dossier yet with Biden an FBI informant corroborating an alleged bribe between a pro-Russia Ukrainian oligarch and the VP and his son doesn't warrant an actual investigation.

You do realize the IRS wasn't allowed to see the FD-1023 while they were investigating Hunter Biden? The IRS whistleblowers both testified that they had never seen or heard of the FD-1023 document. The IRS could have attempted to track down and flag payments to different accounts but without the FD-1023 they were not going to know what to look for. In the FD-1023 Zlochevsky told the informant that it would take people 10 years to find the records of the alleged payments to the Bidens.

Why would Zlochevsky incriminate himself by telling Giuliani anything where it could lead to the Ukraine government getting pressured to prosecute him? The FD-1023 says it was an FBI informant Zlochevsky talked to. The informant was a Ukrainian-American who was introduced to Zlochevsky by someone who works for the Ukrainian government. One of the discussions with the informant occurred in 2016 in Vienna while Biden was VP. The informant was talking business and inquiring about Burisma purchasing a US based oil and gas business, a very different setting than Giuliani meeting him to solely get dirt on Biden.

Ukraine didn't remove Shokin until the US demanded it. Joe Biden financially benefited from the firing. Burisma owner, Zlochevsky, who was being investigated by Shokin agreed to pay the Biden's $5 million each to get Shokin removed. Zlochevsky also told an FBI informant that he had recordings of conversations with Joe and Hunter discussing the bribe. Why didn't Zlochevsky claim to pay other foreign officials to get Shokin removed if every other country wanted Shokin removed? It's just a coincidence that Biden's financial and foreign policy interests were aligned.
