  1. This may be my all-time favorite song. I remember listening to it all the time on the radio in the summer of 1998. Never gets old:
  2. Tim Carter was definitely a good kick returner but he's a close 2nd for me. But I've got to go with Tristan Davis at kick returner. I'd go with Roderick Hood at punt returner. For punter, I'd probably go with Terry Daniel, although a close 2nd for me would be Kody Bliss. For kicker, I know he's still got one more year left but Daniel Carlson is already the best kicker we've ever had. But my all-time favorite kick was in 2001 against #1 Florida. I know he was never the most consistent but I loved watching Damon Duval kick. I've never seen any other kicker we've had, except for Daniel Carlson, get the kind of height on his kicks that Duval did.
  3. This is the original version of Seether's "Broken", which is better imo than the re-made version with Amy Lee of Evanescence that became a big hit.
  4. I have to defend Creed somewhat. Their first album, My Own Prison, has held up well imo. It's their other albums that have not aged well. There's only a couple of songs off their other albums I ever listen to from time to time. But My Own Prison is easily Creed's best material.
  5. Thanks to my dad for introducing me to this song not too long ago. I listen to a classic country station and my dad knew this song when it came on and I just left it on the station to listen to it and I'm glad I did. What a great song. Little did I know when I looked up the song that it's only 1 of 2 songs that won the CMA Award for "Best Song" two years in a row. The other song that achieved that title was He Stopped Loving Her Today.
  6. I've been on 90's country binge the last few weeks. I've rediscovered songs I hadn't heard in awhile. One of my favorites from Tracy Lawrence:
  7. I didn't upload the song to youtube, I just copied the link from youtube and posted the video on here. There are sites where you can upload your mp3 music and they will host your songs like youtube.. There a site called TinyUpload, you can upload pictures, songs, and videos and it's free. If you have a CD of whatever band or songs you want to upload, first you have to put your CD into your computer and rip(copy) the songs to your computer which will transfer the songs into mp3 format. I have Windows Media Player which is what I use to rip my CD's to my computer. After you've ripped the CD's to your computer, you can go to one of those upload/hosting sites like TinyUpload and upload whatever songs you want on there. After an upload is complete on the hosting site, it will give you a link to your song that you can then post on here or e-mail the link to someone so that you can share the music with whoever you want and they'll be able get the music that you've uploaded. Depending on your internet speed might determine how long it takes to upload a song. It's been a long time since I've tried to upload a song, so I honestly can't give you an estimate on how long it would take for a song to be uploaded on one of the hosting sites. As for LP's which is what you've asked about, I'm not sure how much help this will be but here are some sites that may help explain the process of transferring your LP's into CD or mp3 format: http://transfermymusic.com/vinyl-to-cd-or-mp3/ https://www.bhphotovideo.com/explora/audio/tips-and-solutions/how-record-vinyl-records-computer Let me know if any of this has helped at all.
  8. Nostalgic Friday........ I've been going back and listening to older CD's I have that I used to listen to a lot. Some of the bands and music I liked when I was younger haven't held up for me and I don't really care for anymore but some of the music I listened to has brought back strong feelings and made me remember why I liked it back then. I don't understand why this band didn't take off back in 2005. They were underrated in my opinion but for some reason they just didn't catch on with a lot of people. I wish they were still around but they've since broken up. I still have their first album Twelve Year Silence that had their breakout hit that I blasted in my car today: Dark New Day - Brother
  9. I've refrained from posting in this thread but I've decided to finally do it. I'm lukewarm on the hire but lean more towards being pessimistic. I mean yeah, Chip Lindsey is a step up from Rhett Lashlee in terms of experience, but really anyone with any experience being an OC would be considered a step up. I'm still concerned though that he still doesn't have enough experience to handle this big of a job and coming in at a time where there's a lot of pressure being placed on the results of next season. He was only at Arizona State one season, which had a lot of injuries, so the sample size of his experience with a major program is limited. He was an offensive analyst here in 2013. He hasn't been an OC for very long. This is really an unproven hire. I wished that we had gotten someone who was more proven and had more experience. You can compare this hire to Al Borges or Kevin Steele all you want but both of those coaches had more experience prior to being hired at Auburn and had some prior proven success with a major program.
  10. Had it occurred to you to that no other right leaning poster can do what AUUSN did without a rebuttal or push back from a MOD? I don't have a definition about the Spicer theory and don't perpetuate it by using it to make a point.......... Keep knocking down that straw man.
  11. So only AUUSN is allowed to do that and no other right leaning poster is?
  12. You know, if any other right leaning poster had made a claim about something that wasn't backed up with a link, we'd be getting called out and told to provide a link by a MOD by now. Three different posters asked for a link to the quoted claim and so far no response or link has been given.
  13. But you were probably one those people telling those that didn't like that Obama was president to respect the office though. Democrats called Republicans traitors for not supporting Obama and say they hate America. How many Republicans boycotted Obama's inauguration cole?
  14. This isn't one of their released singles but it's still one of my favorite Eagles songs: The Eagles - Those Shoes
  15. Every few days or couple of weeks, a different song will start to find it's way into my music playlist and I'll spend a lot of time listening to the song until another song catches my attention. Some songs just speak to me and how I feel my life is going. Lately this song has been my song of choice to binge to:
  16. My favorite band is Stone Temple Pilots and this is my favorite song of theirs "Down" R.I.P. Scott
