  1. Then why even look at or ask your woman's opinion when making big decisions? I know I do. But I also know two guys who never ever look at or asks their woman when making big decisions. They just do it.
  2. The fact that he stated he looked at her first (instead of his family) confirms he was looking for her approval.
  3. "I looked at Kennedy and she knew exactly what I was thinking. This is exactly where I wanna go." And that confirms the gf was a HUGE factor with us signing him.
  4. Will these be closed practices, as we have been accustomed to with Gus, thus having to rely on players' comments as to their opinions of individual performances?
  5. Yeah I mentioned this earlier in the thread. For us jersey number fanatics, will be interesting. There will be some offensive jersey numbers that will come open due to attrition, so perhaps Craig-Myers will change numbers. Some skill position numbers that will come open: #6, #8, #14, #18, #80
  6. There were several others that reached out to him. He states this in his recent interview, "I've had a lot of phone calls and text messages from coaches around the country." And he nipped many of them in the bud, "I was blunt at the beginning of each conversation, this is what I'm looking for." https://www.wareaglesportsradio.com/episode/17243/recruitniks-exclusive-jarrett-stidhams-decision-is-nearly-here/
  7. Not just the HS scout team work, but he had a sports nutritionist guide him on what to eat and encouraged him to practice to avoid being rusty this Spring. He also works out with DBs each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning. Story here: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2016/12/07/jarrett-stidham-former-baylor-bears-quarterback-recruit-auburn-florida/95045080/ EDIT: Auburn2Eugene and I are on the same page as he posted the link above too.
  8. Hopefully better than DeAngelo Benton. Seriously, I wonder who beats out whom for #3, he or Craig-Myers?
  9. Nah. It was my very first sports username, dating back to 2000, when the AF2's Tennessee Valley Vipers were the new football team in Huntsville. There were literally about 5 fans on the internet following the AF2 then. Haven't followed them in 10 years, but the name stuck. Yeah and it sucks big time. I once had a couple of frosty beverages a few hours prior to a close, thinking it was a slam dunk. Wasn't a big sale lost, but it taught me early on to never think it's in the bag. I've seen too many recruits announced on forums as a "done deal", only to have them slip through AU's fingers. I will do cartwheels through my house if Stidham signs...and break my neck doing so...but NOT until that signature is done.
  10. Makes sense, but reporting back during the visit seems premature. Just me because I'm in sales...it's typically bad karma to report back to camp the big sale is a "matter of time" or "done deal." And you know if we're getting this feedback, so is the Stidham camp, and so is the Kendal camp, which makes me uneasy.
  11. Hate to ask, but was that gif posted in the Kouandjio / Yeldon / Foster / Evans threads? *ducks*
  12. Even before the coaches are done with the 12-hour visit? And they are letting recruiting insiders know WHILE they're meeting with him?
  13. IMO, Gus and Lashlee are continuing to sell him guarantees for 2017, unlike Kendal, who has none at this point. Gus/Lashlee can sell him on playing for a legit chance at titles. Right now, Kendal can't. IMO, that's what they're focusing on with the visit today.
