The above on LJ is just weird. Doesn’t look like something a recruit would normally post. Are recruits getting a fee for posting these things?  

Check out Luke Nichol in the 7A title Georgia game tonight.  Kid lives in my 'hood and committed to the Canes.  Not sure why we didn't recruit him.  He can play.

Who knows you could be right, but I could see him taking his Natty and his new Ferrari and heading to Jupiter to play golf with Tiger.  Go out on top.  If I had a mansion on Jupiter Island and a bunch of money, spending one more day in Tuscaloosa would suck.

Should Satan retire after the season (which I think is real possibility, especially if they win it all), impact on this recruiting cycle?

I remember not being able to sleep the entire night after the FSU natty loss. But the next day I thought, damn we have been in 2 title games in 3 years. The future is bright. Hard to believe that after that night we have pretty much sucked for a whole fricking decade. 

The AD should give the new football facilities to Pearl. 

On a positive note, we are so irrelevant they are, at least, not showing highlights of our loss at halftime of the other games. 

Hugh should have given the Tebow speech and walked out. Embarrassing.

Bro, I am not sure if you were around for the Terry era.  He won for the first 1.8 years with players he did not recruit.  People f'n loved him.  But in year 3 it because evident that he only won with players others recruited.  His offense was completely one-dimensional and he could not adapt.  Sound familiar?  If he had continued winning (and not banging boosters kin - allegedly), he would have 'fit' fine.

Prime can recruit and coach and market.  Those things generate wins -- you win, you fit.

Bowden's next to last season at AU his team finished 10-3 and lost the SEC championship game by one point. The next year I was standing next to a guy who "knew things" at Tiger walk early in the season. I was told "If he doesn't win this game (Tennessee) he's gone". I don't think a coach with Bowden's record would have been shown the door if he was a good fit.

Terry was a good game day coach who could not recruit.  Plus he was (allegedly) banging one of our biggest boosters daughter.  That is why he didn't "fit".

Just for the record, nobody likes the cocky/arrogant guy unless he belongs to you.  Back in the day everyone not a Gator fan hated the ole ball coach because he was kicking your ass and rubbing your nose in it.  But we all loved us some Tubbs when he was holding up fingers to the Turds.  

We would be 'dogs against likely any team in the top 25 at a neutral site.  Against any team with a solid o-line and running back, we likely give up 250 yards rushing.  I love Auburn, but let's be real.

CBP needs to do some conditioning work with the team!  Sharp unis.  

Jumpman would be the best option assuming a fair number.  Great for basketball too.  UA is just dead.  I went to an Academy Sports a couple of weeks ago -- UA had nothing there that even resembled AU colors.  You would think they would stock some Auburn specific stuff, but nothing.

That's unfortunate.  The Turds used to feel the same way until little Nicky showed up.  

Both can be true.  CHF has done a fine job thus far, but Prime would have been a home run hire.  You may not like either his personality or his bravado but there is no questioning his leadership or marketing abilities.  CHF may win big at Auburn, but there is no doubt in my mind that Prime would have won big here.
