I remember not being able to sleep the entire night after the FSU natty loss. But the next day I thought, damn we have been in 2 title games in 3 years. The future is bright. Hard to believe that after that night we have pretty much sucked for a whole fricking decade.

Terry's conference record post 94 was like 16-14.

Bro, I am not sure if you were around for the Terry era. He won for the first 1.8 years with players he did not recruit. People f'n loved him. But in year 3 it because evident that he only won with players others recruited. His offense was completely one-dimensional and he could not adapt. Sound familiar? If he had continued winning (and not banging boosters kin - allegedly), he would have 'fit' fine.

Prime can recruit and coach and market. Those things generate wins -- you win, you fit.

Terry was a good game day coach who could not recruit. Plus he was (allegedly) banging one of our biggest boosters daughter. That is why he didn't "fit".

Just for the record, nobody likes the cocky/arrogant guy unless he belongs to you. Back in the day everyone not a Gator fan hated the ole ball coach because he was kicking your ass and rubbing your nose in it. But we all loved us some Tubbs when he was holding up fingers to the Turds.

We would be 'dogs against likely any team in the top 25 at a neutral site. Against any team with a solid o-line and running back, we likely give up 250 yards rushing. I love Auburn, but let's be real.

Both can be true. CHF has done a fine job thus far, but Prime would have been a home run hire. You may not like either his personality or his bravado but there is no questioning his leadership or marketing abilities. CHF may win big at Auburn, but there is no doubt in my mind that Prime would have won big here.
