  1. Time to move this thread.. Sadly he committed to Thuga.
  2. This is a very disappointing turn of events, sounds like our Beat Writers were completely clueless on this one. Just this morning it was being pumped about the arrivals of both. I read last week we reached out to Norchad Omier We have to have another PF, and do not want to hear any nonsense about playing Moore and Broome there as backups. That should be emergencies only. Another one we are interested in his Elijah Saunders San Diego State transfer.
  3. He has played 2 years at Clemson. Not sure when the Covid extra year of eligibility thing applies to 2022 entrants. He has at least 2 and maybe a 3rd depending on the covid rule.
  4. Tomorrow until Thursday. He is from my hometown. Saw him play against Sharife in the state playoffs. This kid is a polished warrior. Brother plays lb for Kentucky. Dad was an NFL Lb. Very good kid from a great family. He would be a perfect fit for us. CJ Uzomah went to his HS. He is an Auburn type kid. Works hard and not a look at me type.
  5. I agree the only way they are getting Philon is if Sears isnt coming back, and that will lead to our least favorite former Krystals All American being unhappy. I have a feeling he ends up at Ole Miss due to Flanigan.
  6. Unless he has locker room issues, on paper he is a perfect fit. Local kid, good shooter, good size and gives us another PG. With only 3 guards on scholarship we have to have another. Would be hard to find much better thats feasible and willing to backup.
  7. The Portal Report X account listed us among the schools that had contacted him as well last week. A proven PG that back up Pegues would be a great addition. Grab Godfrey or Coles and call it a day.
  8. Scored 12 against the Updykes in the Sweet 16. He is only going to make us better if we are fortunate enough to sign him.
  9. Pegues has already signed, so I would count him as locked in. 3 Guard lineup with CBM as the Stretch 4 and Chaney backing him up would be interesting.
  10. This is Randall Godfrey's son. I saw him play a bunch in high school and he is a great athlete. Actually reminds me of Chaney a bit. Would be an excellent pickup for us. We were recruited him out of HS as well.
  11. Lunardi's bracketology dropped again in last hour. He has us as a 4 seed again. Sandwiched between KY and Illinois. The Updykes are the final 4 seed. As long as we beat UGA we are firmly a 4 seed. If Kentucky loses to UT then will be the highest 4th seed, hoping we can climb up to that #3 spot.
  12. Kirby is on his little helicopter @ Carrollton Hs today visiting Juju before his trip to Auburn. Maybe Josh Harris and Terrence Crowder can provide security at the school and keep old bowlcut out!
  13. I would be ok with that as his batting average on successes is much higher!
  14. Howard should fill the other SF role, and assuming CBM is back we will back good there. I would expect Cardwell would be encouraged to come back for his Covid year as well. You are right we definitely need at least a Center & PF from the portal.
  15. Auburn football is sending out the eyeball emoji's now with the ever popular 'We Aint Done yet" Wonder if this means Harris is on board since doesnt sound like we are landing Echols.
  16. I have seen a little smoke about Syracuse making a push. We just need to do what it takes to lock in AJ he would seriously upgrade the talent level in our secondary.
  17. Does anyone have any updates on him? We really need him and it sounded yesterday like this would be a done deal once Bolden announced to Thuga.
  18. He visited this weekend and was even at the BBALL game. Crossing fingers as we need this guy badly and would more than likely be a Day 1 starter.
  19. His announcement time coincides with the kickoff of the Oregon game. I hate it but this guy is a duck -:(
  20. Chris Moore and Lior Berman are both very injury prone, and I can see Scott filling a Javon Franklin energy type role for us.
  21. Neither do I. He seems like he is talented enough to provide quality depth and be a rotational piece. We all know good and well we will lose somebody by the fall. Maybe we will have room for him then as he really wants to come back home to Alabama.
  22. He can shoot and I like his size at the wing. I liked Cleveland over Lawrence and he is a similar player to Cleveland. He has played at a high level in the Ncaa tourney and SDSU kids are well coached and tough.
  23. Coincidentally, Kentucky has hosted and has offered San Diego State transfer wing Keshad Johnson. At this point it looks Kentucky has not offered, but not saying they wont. We offer him a great deal of playing time, and you know Calipari always is partial to playing his over rated and underachieving freshmen
  24. Word on the street is we presented him with a deadline to decide yesterday, and he would not give us an answer so we moved on. For someone who left an official visit with us sounding like he was minutes away from committing, he sure has turned into a quite the attention seeker. If he ends up back at Vanderbilt that only confirms that. Chad Mazara-Baker is our top option at this stage, and we are in his final 3 along with A&M & Toledo. A&M got a graduate transfer at the 3 from Middle Tenn State, and Radford announced yesterday he is coming back for his super senior year. We seem like a better fit and can offer more playing time than A&M, so we shall see.
