Even if Thorne was a good QB how can you expect someone to come in on 3rd and long, cold at that point and just somehow be able to be explosive on offense? I don’t get the logic.

Maybe we just need to stop running to the sidelines. Gashing them when we run up the gut. Sigh, why are they playing Thorne?

By rule it is. By rule, “pass interference (PI) is a foul that occurs when a player interferes with an eligible receiver's ability to make a fair attempt to catch a forward pass. Pass interference may include tripping, pushing, pulling, or cutting in front of the receiver, covering the receiver's face, or pulling on the receiver's hands or arms” - Wikipedia. So by rule that’s exactly what happened. Easy call. You think you made a case but you didn’t. He tackled the WR before the ball got there. That’s pass interference. So why don’t you just drop it, because you’re wrong.

So the Auburn WR couldn’t catch it because he was tackled by the Ole Miss DB. He couldn’t come back for it because he was tackled. Sorry but that’s pass interference.

He had 102 yards last week. But every week, the coaches can’t figure out what they want him to do. It’s pitiful. And it’s beyond apparent to even non football people that Ashford provides a spark and moves the ball. It’s sheer lunacy to even play Thorne for one more snap.
