Really enjoyed this win. Lived in the Columbia area for 40 years before moving last spring. I think Lamont should have spent more time on that film from the earlier anomaly.

Props to those of you who are trying to provide some reason to the road loss at Florida but it seems you are fighting a losing battle with some. Auburn is a good team with lots of pieces but at this point they are not great but no knows how the season will end. No one saw the final four run coming the year it happened.

One positive note from the game - Chaney Johnson had his best game of the season 9 points and 10 rebounds (3 offensive) in 19 minutes on the court

The NIL valuation is comprised of a number of dynamic data points that focus on two primary factors – an athlete’s social media presence and their level of athletic performance.

A base valuation is generated from the number of followers on each social media platform an athlete has (Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok). Each platform is weighted differently based on the number of marketing dollars that brands and advertisers typically spend on each.

My takeaway of the number is that this is ON3's estimate of the worth of that team's roster. Does not necessarily correlate to the actual NIL dollars that school has IMHO

I live about 30 miles southeast of downtown Nashville so was until yesterday when I got out to do a couple of errands. But temperatures are dropping significantly over next couple of days plus we had mixed precipitation late yesterday along with snowing again this morning  so answer is now yes😁

OK, I was wrong about this Tigers team. I figured they would be a bubble team, somewhere in the middle of the SEC. But there’s a reason Pearl is one of the best coaches in the country. Auburn followed up a historic road win against Arkansas with a huge home victory over Texas A&M. The Tigers are now 13-2 overall and 2-0 in league play, and they’re a serious threat to win the SEC. This is a team without a true star, but Pearl has a lot of good players, including Johni Broome, veteran Jaylin Williams and young freshman guard Aden Holloway.

BUY: I’ve seen enough to feel good that the Tigers are for real

Does anyone know how the teams were paired for the SEC ACC challenge? I know ESPN set it up but just wondered if there was a known method.

Already have tickets for Moo State. Plans are in the works for Vanderbilt since I live just outside of Nashville.

The NIP is here for me. 61 in Murfreesboro this am and I acquired tickets to the AU - Moo State game - be first on campus game in 43 years.

This was a great team win and very satisfying for the team. Penta pitched a great game and the hitters did just enough. The hitters' improvement in at bats against Fouts from yesterday to today was great. Much better battling at the plate. McCondiche's homerun though was huge to put AU up.

After seeing it in slow motion a couple of times, I believe she got her glove under it and the ball bounced off the glove surface. Like you said  though - didn't really matter

Both were hurt in the 4th quarter. Coulibably first by an elbow to the face that flattened her and was deemed flagrant. Richardson was in last few minutes of 4th when she went up for shot and wound up landing backwards on floor striking the back of her head. With my O&B glasses, it looked like one of the two Clemson defenders moved under her causing her to fall but not sure and no foul was called. We had two charges in the last roughly minute of the game that eliminated the chance to pull it out.

Also, because of the weather forecast for Sunday, tomorrow (Saturday) will be a double-header. I think first game is at noon and second at 5pm (doing this from memory so don't hold me to these times but will be Eastern time zone)

Girls win 6-5. Homeruns by Ellis, Garcia (2 run shot in 5th to put AU up 6-4), and Peralta (lead off shot). Lowe started - 2 solid innings and wheels came off in 3rd. Widra relieved - walked first batter and hit second so forced in 2 runs which made Lowe leave with 2.1 innings and 3 earned runs. Widra got the other two outs and pitched the 4th, giving up HR which tied score again. Penta pitched last 3 innings. Runner on first with 2 out and next batter hit a shot off center field wall. Packer played it perfectly off the wall and threw the batter out at 2nd to seal the game. Very good win!
