  1. My thoughts for sure. Just hoping at game time CGM lets him call plays on his own tendencies like most head coaches.
  2. I would suppose most all of us are obviously fans..some with more insight than others maybe..yet fans non-the-less. I fall in the glass-half-full category in that CRL has moved on and we now have someone different and by most accounts that is what all us fans were clammering for to happen. I for one am encouraged by his QB work and positive results where he has coached.
  3. I like the move also. IF, he is given the legit play calling duty, then our tendencies will change and hopefully be a little less transparent and repetitive. I like that he has spent time developing QB's and with good results. I see nothing wrong with is familiarity with Gus and Auburn. I just want to finally see positive and dynamic results on Offense. JMHO
  4. Gus has always had a dynamic offensive team, when he trusts his quarterback. So now with the possibility of all 4 being healthy next Fall ( and on campus in Spring) JS, SW, WB and TQ should raise CGM's spirits. I know it sure will raise mine.
  5. Has Tyler Queen ever fully recovered from his 2 shoulder surgeries or is he damaged goods too after all these past 2 seasons? He played momentarily last week but only handoffs and one safe run to the sidelines. Will he be a healthy/viable contributor or backup next season or has he sustained major damage like Shawn supposedly has done?
  6. I know we have a few good men that can hopefully fill the KP void this week, but gracious do we ever need a healthy and accurate SW for Ga. I am hoping that a little therapy and the past week without reps everyday, may be enough to bring him back. Having watched him through the last 4 games, he has shown a legitimate degree of confidence and dependability we desperately need. No one at AU will tell us anything, so will just have to be patient until Saturday.
  7. I hope CGM hasn't decided to start calling the plays again
  8. Here is hoping that the D does not regress to this type play for the balance of the season and that CRL rediscovers the Tight End as a receiver more often.
  9. That last line is the key to Ole MIss' side of the scrimmage...on our side we need to play like Auburn has the past 2 weeks!
  10. Stat I know you would not want to predict next week's game outcome, but what is your opinion of the effect Ole Miss' loss will have on their team when we play next Saturday? I was really torn as whether I wanted LSU to win or Ole Miss to win. Here I am hopeful the AU coaches can keep us focused and improving while going into a hostile and angry environment.
  11. Agree with Iron Man and Weagle1..does anyone believe that with Lashlee now calling plays that we will finally begin to try and play with a full playbook? I am still hoping we will, but the time is now!
  12. Yes..am hoping that the coaches spend some serous time helping Cox, and either the other backs/receivers or lineman that are just plain missing assignments. Our last drive in the Red Zone could easily have sealed the game if their play would remain consistent. By the way, somewhere I read that LSU should have been called for a "false start" on that last 1-second play. Of course it doesn't matter now due to the final outcome. Was just wondering if I read the article correctly. This being LSU, I will take it anyway we can get it.
  13. The playbook must be opened a great deal more in the next 2 weeks to gain some comfort level. Other teams, one will especially be un-named, recruit high-profile athletes and they are allowed to contribute immediately. Will CGM's stepping away from play calling become an opportunity for our younger receivers and White to start playing some real football?
