A little more musicianship. I'm surprised the stage could hold it all up. Two of the best players ever, imo.
That was epically good...is epically an actual word?
-
Yeah, that's a good one!
A friend of mine liked her/that song so much that she named her daughter Mazzy.
It's kinda hypnotic

Posting these for myself at this hour but oh well

One from my e-tard days

I don't know what it is about this song but...I love it

Easily the best band of the grunge scene
-
One of my all time Top 5 songs

If you just want to jam with some damn fine musicians, check these guys out. Jump to the 3 minute mark to see one great trumpet player.
Thanks! It's a music kind of night in the selias garage and cigar lounge

That ex I mentioned had an almost unhealthy obsession with him and Type O. Haha
Danzig was another of her favorites. She was....well....she just was.
A good time. You can feel free to admit she was a good time lol
-
Have you heard much of Seventh Void? A couple of the guys from Type O are in it. I don't know if they are still active or not.
I haven't....off to Google I go
Truth be told, Peter Steele's voice made Type O though

This reminds me of an ex who would listen to the Bloody Kisses album on repeat for hours. She was three years older than me, and was a fun sort of crazy.
I really liked the Bloody Kisses album

There's a music genre for literally everything. It is a fact that never disappoints. Haha
It's what I love about music. I can find anything that suits my mood or situation. It's one of the few things our species of overachieving apes has done right.

That isn't bad, Selias, all things considered.....not a genre I spend much time with...
First to defend its' right of expression, though...
My first contributions to the thread weren't remotely metal ;)/>

FTR, Shocks it was a joke.....does nothing for me....
Don't let him fool you Shocks. tt is a big old metalhead lol

Will this do?

Until you commit to Finnish Folk Metal.....I question your sincerity..... ;)/>
Lmao

Oh, and I can't wait until a "true metal" argument happens. I'm a bit afraid to post the kind of metal I'm into. I'll say it's a bit more "extreme" than some of the nu-metal being posted. ;)/>
Scandinavian?
Bingo. Ambient black metal(really liking Summong right now) is my preference, but I do enjoy the traditional bands like Immortal, Carpathian Forest, Darkthrone, etc. But also death metal on occasion if the mood is right. I do enjoy thrash/speed(specifically Pantera and Iron Maiden) and sludge/stoner too(the Sword, Electric Wizard, Pallbearer, etc.).
I've not gone down the Scandinavian metal rabbit hole. I've listened to a little of The Sword and liked that

One of the bands that's required for a music thread

At least there some semblance of a pit here
-
A nice live version....what's wrong with these people at the concert, there's no pit.

I've been meaning to try and catch Bonamassa when he's in town.
In the meantime, if we're going bluesy...I still love SRV and his cover of Little Wing.
