I guess I understand that. I just see classical Gus philosophy as running that same play until it ends up being 3rd and long or 4th down

Can you explain why Gus made that change from jf3 though? You're one of the brightest football minds I know and I just can't wrap my mind around it. He had the defense on their heels. we would be running away with this game with a 2009 caliber offense

team needs to go get some rest, especially the D for halftime gus needs to get chewed out by someone. The play calling is taking away a huge opportunity we have.

He had a couple of good plays and was kept in until the o line broke we started with Sean then cox and jf3 took snaps on the 2nd drive and then JJ on 3rd

Does Gus think we're gonna break a big one on them on 3rd and 10 running a jet sweep? and the ridiculous idea to play a different QB for EVERY play of a series and think you're gonna get somewhere. Pan over to Gus on the sideline and he's smiling. ive been a huge Gus fan but when we are less than one quarter into the season and it seems that we'll have a better chance of our defense scoring than offense scoring, I have to question the "offensive genius".

I really hope these freshmen WRs pan out. Even if it's not this year, it'll be great to have homerun threats outside of the backfield I honestly think we see the coaches at least try and give KJ the majority of the carries too, or at least split the carries evenly to have one of the two super fresh for late in the game. i also think that some of the stuff about Cowart taking time to adjust are completely accurate. Not that it's a bad thing but he was able to completely man handle anyone in high school. I expect we see great things out of him before he leaves auburn but he may end up a 4 year player, imo.
