No I won't be changing my mindset unless a coach is hired that warrants the change which I hinted at in my first post about this topic. We finally have an nil collective ready to go and a nice brick and mortar facility, good -- I look around the SEC and think about texas and oklahoma's arrival and I look at Auburn, I look at the history of Auburn and I am not convinced that we will ever be a full tilt break neck bad a** program that is dominating the south. I want top 12 recruiting, I want to make a run once every three or four years and I want to perenially be a tough out for every team we play.

That's fair. The point I'm making is, it feels like AU as a whole has moved on from the 8-4 expectation.

Snatching Cohen from MSU and firing Harsin mid-season and essentially cleaning house, as far as Harsin's guys, spoke volumes.

I hope I am wrong but I don't see historical norms changing to the point we are year in and year out booking 10 to 10+ wins every year.

This is a part of the problem. Expectations at AU have been talked about ad nauseam but if you can't tell that things are changing around this program, I'm afraid you just aren't paying attention. Gotta change your mindset.

  3. Why can't we just sit back and enjoy watching Cadillac and this group coach and play their hearts out for AU? There doesn't always have to be a conversation and this situation is a great example.

Now we have folks bashing on the man's accent and lobbying for reasons why/why not he should be named the permanent HC.

I swear it's like we B!+# for the sake of B!+#ing. It's exhausting

Remember last week when it was said CKS was a big factor in Alabama defense success?

    Pepperidge farms remembers

Watching his defense suffocate Tennessee's offense and it's identical to the way bama used to year in & year out. Scary stuff

You’ll have to face it one way or another…we won’t have much of a choice in the future as we struggle to compete the rest of this season, and as we hope to attract decent players to our once great football program

Good lord it isn't this serious but you do you. I'll agree to disagree, there's enough pointless fodder around this forum already

Our previous class was the ONLY SEC class to never sign a recruit on signing day in football. We are in the same conference as Vanderbilt. Let that sink in

And Harsin's been fired. Time for AU to move forward.

    NAHI don't think I will .............

Sir I honestly have to disagree. This needs to burn in for a minute. This dude burned us. Yes move on but never forget what this clown was allowed to do to us. That's what scars are for, a reminder of what can happen.

That's fair, I'm just past the negativity. Instead of reading or hearing what Harsin did or didn't do, I'd rather hear what can or what's being done to fix even the fundamental things this group has struggled to do.

So was Florida football bad in the 1990s just because FSU was at its peak?

Don't know where this came from. Idc one way or the other who the AD is as long as Harsin is ****canned and he's replaced with someone who can do the job
