No it isn’t but you call it what you want. Not defending Trump. Just pointing out that “stolen” is false.

Viral Facebook posts falsely claim that President Donald Trump “stole” charitable donations meant for veterans. A court ruled Trump illegally used his foundation for political purposes when it held a fundraiser for veterans, but all of the money raised went to veterans’ groups.

He’s deeply caring.
Only know a couple of people that have met him. One is a lady from Georgia that was worked as model. She says he is a great guy.

His audience will lap it up.
Don’t you think it was charming of him to wish a happy day to people he apparently does not care for?

If so, you need to edit so it actually says that.
I was quoting Nat’l. He replied and seemed to understand what I as saying.

Don't over think this Salty. A parade is a parade. Mardi Gras parades are for "the local variety" and "community fellowship" as well.
I never attended a gay pride parade but I can only surmise they are also of "the local variety" and promoting "community fellowship" as well. And perhaps even to demonstrate solidarity and fellowship among people who happen to be or empathize with gay people.
Much like Christmas parades are partly to celebrate those of a common religion. (Or at least I heard a rumor it was vaguely related to a religion. )
I will not disagree with you. Sounds like you have attended some pride parades. I have been to Mardi Gras in NOLA for the past 3 or 4 years. It is an amazing event. Surprisingly to me it is very “family friendly”. Lots of fun and great folks.

No Salty. You stated it as an example. Go back and review the sequence:
"“Neurotic”? Not sure that is the case in most situations. It is a term used to describe people that do not celebrate the gay lifestyle."
Nevertheless you did respond. (in red)
I am saying neurotic is not the correct term.

That sucks. I totally get it.
Fiddy is great to have around during football season. Visit “Articles” on the football forum. He runs them all year but I enjoy it in the fall. Up before the sun with coffee waiting on the articles.
Side note: I really start to get pumped about football after the July 4th holiday. If you recall pre computer that is when Athlon, Lindsay, and all other publications would come out their magazines and predictions. Would read them all cover to cover several times.

Well, I suppose you should be commended for not pulling their flags up or egging their house, but you never provided an example of someone calling you "neurotic" because you don't enjoy gays being themselves.
No one has called me neurotic. That was Nat’ls word that I questioned. Keep up.

Hell, I'd even accept "tolerate".
You're partly right about the "in-your-face" sexuality about gay pride parades - which I agree is certainly counterproductive. That's on them.
But in terms of their right to have such a parade, it's no different than a Christmas parade.
But comparing such a "pride" parade to a civil right's demonstration is a little over the top. Of course they're different (as is the Christmas parade).
I would say the parades are much different. The majority of Christmas parades are of the hometown local variety and primarily for children and some community fellowship. Not sure what “pride” parades are about. Never attended one so sure you can shed more light on it than me.
Suppose in some areas they could be for certain people to fellowship.

Not flying the rainbow bow flag or being proud to see rainbow lit bridges, changing to a different movie when scenes involve two men or two women kissing each other, not caring for a hotel commercial showing two men in bed together, etc…not going to pull the flags up or egg their house. Just don’t care for it.

Admittedly I struggle on abortion but the gay neurotic thing is just silly to me. If they pay taxes and don’t break any crimes - could care less. And goodness knows their yards will look perfect.
My point was not all change is bad. And going backwards is generally… going backwards. If some transgender folks send people in a complete tizzy because of change, wait till AI fully hits in several years. Change such as society has never dealt with is coming.
“Neurotic”? Not sure that is the case in most situations. It is a term used to describe people that do not celebrate the gay lifestyle.

People forget how state-centric our history and model is. Minimally each state should prorate their electoral votes.

I am the really good looking guy wearing a white with blue bill Dye era hat. Usually wear shorts regardless of temperature. Always a group of nice looking women close by wanting to meet me.

The fuss is the only reason Ron DeSimpleton does anything. He is a smart man, which makes his desire and willingness to fire up the power of the State to divide and push that division thru culture war pettiness even more pathetic. He lost me years ago when he let everyone know that he would adopt any view held by Trump. I have no doubt he would empty his pee pot and drink his bath water if given the chance.
I don’t know what he would do with Trumps pee pot and doubt you do. He probably just wants Freedom Summer celebration consistent with other patriotic events by displaying the traditional colors. Tax free items from July 1 thru July 31 include fishing supplies so I will take advantage of it. Link below fyi

The more you think about it, the sillier it gets. Ps no green so what about the holidays?
The fuss is a bit silly. My understanding is that in the past lighting was left up to the cities. With Freedom Summer being a state thing it supersedes city decisions. Just happens to coincide with pride month.

Standard FDOT freedom red, white and blue. Only applies to FDOT maintained bridges. Guess you could decorate a private bridge anyway you want.
