The truth is you're being an arrogant *&*hole. Handle that. You're only slightly more interested in problem solving than the typical MAGA guy. If you were genuinely interested, you could point to any number of legitimate criticisms of Biden on policy. But you don't. Instead you come on like Tuberville, Don Jr. or some rando MAGA moron on twitter with some inane comment about Biden not knowing what day it is. Which is your default. Just like those guys.
Who peed in your oatmeal this morning Tex? Nat’l took a swing at Trump and Joe in the same sentence. Good topic and apparently we all feel no one in Washington cares much about debt. A boring discussion that doesn’t get them elected. Wish more people would be like Nat’l and wake up to it not being sustainable.

Knew it was coming. Tex can be sensitive about Biden.

I am trying to find a teenager for part time summer work at $20/hr. So far, no takers.
It is crazy these days. Down on the coast for the past few weeks. Very few storefronts or businesses that do not have “hiring” signs posted.
Sounds like you are offering what our generation would have called a dream job for the summer.

I've never though of "efficient and quiet" as sexy.
But I think I get your point.
My point is that they make the task at hand look natural and effortless. “Sexy” may be a bad choice of words but I thought it sounded good. If you ever have the opportunity to watch a Hispanic crew framing a home stop and take note for just a few minutes. You do not have to be an expert to see how well and efficient they work together.

My mistake. I shouldn't have mentioned it knowing that some MAGA would jump on it as an opening to avoid my main point. This why I later "crawfished" on it:
"Given the context there's nothing illegal about it (as I questioned in an earlier post). It's just blatantly transactional and morally/ethically revealing. (But then we already knew that about Trump.)
But I stand by my comment that this is a political gift for the Democrats.
But thanks for confirming my instincts Salty. You are a predictable passive-aggressive MAGA.
What is a passive aggressive maga?

You can’t have both. Debt reduction would help with inflation you’re so worried about.
Some of the republicans think you can have both. According to them the cuts pay for themselves in growth.
Personally I would like to see debt reduction but unfortunately bureaucracy means shameful and absurd inefficiency.

Good luck finding all these legal Americans who are willing to pick crops or work construction in 90 degree heat
90 degrees ain’t nuthin….you big sissy. Ask Tex

1) I am ALL for locking down the border tomorrow - the current handling of the border is simply train wreck unacceptable 2) that being said, if there’s any silver lining - I agree, the work ethic (and price) that Hispanics display on every construction that they work on is very impressive. Atlanta has a housing boom going on and without Hispanic labor there’d be a total collapse and/or price explosion in the industry by lunch tomorrow.
My career was more commercial, institutional, and industrial construction. Without Hispanic labor the industry would be in a “pickle”. Younger Americans or a least few have any interest in it. Different world now but when I was younger a summer construction job meant being set for a while.

The last Trump rally?
I was thinking the same. Trump is pretty clear about not caring for people like you. Doubt he would ever harm you though.

Tex would call you a “Maga sympathizer”

"Crime"?
I am not talking about crime. I am talking about refuting/rejecting policies meant to address AGW which is simply politics.
I am because you mentioned it.
“And - assuming attempted bribery is a crime - the Justice Department as well.)”

I’m guessing quite a few are the guys I see working 12-14 hour days in construction in 105F degree weather. What do you think, @SaltyTiger?
A real boost for the construction industry speaking from hands on experience. I was and continue to be amazed at the efficiency and ease they work. Could take four of them and do non struggle what 12 of ours would grumble, gripe, and stumble around doing. Proud to say we always paid them very well.
Sure it sounds weird but was watching a crew of Hispanics forming and pouring concrete a few weeks ago. So efficient and quiet it almost looked sexy.

pull the country together and have the nation singing kumbaya by a campfire holding hands is a cool idea,

They’re not all nuts too.
Thank you Nat’l. Have told Brother Homer and company this for years.
They are unbelievably closed minded. The thinking is warped by ideology and belief that they can create a Utopian society.

But again, my point is this obviously good campaign material, assuming that a majority of Americans disapprove of his "intent" which was quite apparent.
Once again a low priority issue. Everything about “crime” is speculative. Nothing for Trump to offer at this date. We will see.

Did think of you when I saw the place so took a pic. It is next to a Dollar Tree store that the wife wanted to run into. Thanks to Biden’s inflation most things in the Dollar store are now $1.25.

I have no idea what you are talking about. It is bribery. Our entire political system works on it.
And I am not deflecting on anything. People understand what he did. He promised to eliminate environmental regulations in return for a billion dollars. People who are concerned about our environment (CO2) understand that. And if you believe the polls, that is a majority of Americans.
To MAGA's who think AGW is a hoax, it won't matter. (As IM4's "like" to your post demonstrates.)
I don't know what's happening to you Salty. Either you are evolving into more of a MAGA or you have a personal problem with me.
I am just saying if indeed “bribery” then bribery is the issue. Should alarming to more folks than just those with an interest in intent. I also said I doubt it will ever amount to anything.

Not sure. Sean said something about the way National Park Service estimates crowd size.

Oh, it obviously won't hurt him with the MAGAs who are deniers or don't care, but polling of the general populace suggests otherwise.

Deflecting from what you called bribery and maybe a DOJ investigation to a low priority voting issue. Good move Brother Homer.

Didn’t Sean Spicer point out that Trump’s inauguration crowd was largest ever? Believable pic Tex.
