Anyone else think that putrid performance on offense last game at qb actually helped us with stidham? I think he had his doubts maybe that he could come in and start right away. Now??? He probaly think he is a lock.

I will go out on whats probaly not a limb but say the obvious. If we do not land Stidham OR if Woody Barrett is not the real deal we will not beat Georgia and Bama AGAIN next year with SW. This recruit is the single most important recruit of the malzahn era. Gus offense more than probaly almost any other system NEEDS a good qb. 8-4 is about the best we can expect without a gamechanger.

He is the QB that Gus NEEDS in his offense.

Blake Barnett seems to be the one that fits the locker room pariah label better with the way he walked out on bama not even mid season. WELP hope that ends up being the case.

Neihbur had a update this week that says otherwise. Though he has stayed consistent in that he believes they never fully stopped recruiting him.

I will be infuriated if we lose another QB to TAMU. Been a pain in the ass this recruiting cycle.

They are undefeated in conference play or at least last time I saw something about them which was 2 weeks ago. They have bounced back nicely.

for me I want him to be OC because he can give Gus some new ideas in the passing game which I think he needs.

If he does not go to AU I really hope its not TAMU and not anywhere with teams we have to face on a yearly basis.

Tyler Queen has never been and never will be a viable QB option at Auburn University. We need a true QB in this class. Bishop will end up playing another position. Stidham is a stud there is a reason we have been all in on him for awhile and have been putting the full court press on. I think it pays off. Whoever is not the starter out of Stidham and White next year we would finally have a legit backup and some quality depth.

hmmm interesting. I never got that vibe from the pay site info of their sources speaking on this matter. Interesting. I always thought if Art got a HC job somewhere that could be a gamechanger but that does not look like that will happen anytime soon. I guess wherever Kendall Briles ends up could be a huge player for him. There has not been any new info on stidham in a long time.

Love Sean but would not mind at all the problem of having both of them battle it out in spring and fall practice. In this day and age you need 2 really good qbs ready to go at a moments notice.

Keith is the most realistic recruiting analyst out there for AU. He is not pumping sunshine all the time like the folks at rivals and I appreciate his honesty. If KEITH thinks we have a good shot then its as good as done.
