  1. The one that sticks in my mind was the 2008 LSU game when Jarrett Lee took over and threw for 3 TDs to beat us in JHS. That game sucked...
  2. I see him being used much more like David Johnson or more recently how the Falcons have used Cordarrelle Patterson rather than Darren Sproles. Tank is an every-down back in the NFL that is a big threat in the passing game.
  3. My biggest concern with bringing in an air raid offense is that it won't be as successful with both Miss St. and us running it. It gives a lot of practice and forces all teams in the west to be more prepared for it on a holistic level. I have no evidence to back up that concern, but the logic makes sense to me. That being said, if Kittley's air raid is more like Lincoln Riley's or Grime's offense then I would be more on board.
  4. Gus has shown no evidence that he gives up control when his seat gets hot. This will be more of the same. I'm thinking similar to Tubbs and Franklin, first sign of problems and we're back to the whirly bird
  5. Here's to the mastermind behind the 92nd ranked offense in the country last year. Gus got himself a yes man. Honestly surprised it wasn't a Hand promotion.
  6. This! I remember a couple years ago, everyone was raving about how unstoppable our offense was in practice, and we turned out to be horrendous on offense and even worse on defense. Point being, anyone can look amazing against sub-par opponents. The talking up of our defense and individuals on the defense is starting to really look like an inverted case of before.
