He will have to obtain more successful power 5 experience before he gets to a place like Bama. He is a very good coach though.
That’s fair. I think he can do that though. If Dabo got the Bama job could totally see Chadwell at Clemson.

He won’t get it this time but Jamey Chadwell could be the next HC

I did missionary work in Mongolia for many years and this looks pretty much exactly like their pagan shrines.. I’m not joking...😬
I’ve always wanted to go. I’m assuming you enjoyed it if you kept going back. What’s it like?

Alabama fans are NOT going to handle this well. This will be an existential crisis for them.
If they don’t win multiple playoff games/conference championships or a national title, they’ll have a new HC and AD by 28.

Also hearing Norvell and Locksley will be targeted
Norvell and his staff have stumbled on signing day recently. That will be a big part of their decision making process.
Locksley would be a major let down but I’d be all for it. Maryland is a tough gig but he could’ve gotten more out of it IMO
This wouldn't be as sexy but he’s ran the same program for a long time and has done a lot with less and that’s Mike Gundy but again not sure on recruiting.

I've been told that the Mrs Terry stuff was a misdirection and she is okay.
That’s good. I’m sure a lot of on this board have seen dementia first hand. Not something you throw around lightly.

Lanning has millions of reasons to take the job but if I were him and I wanted it I would just wait 3 years until it’s open again.

My theory is that CFH really likes Auburn and believes it's a great opportunity. He knew that X's and O's alone would not get this program back on track so he delegated the offense to CPM and let him run the show in times where he had to recruit. CFH knows that recruiting is everything in CFB and you can't win this conference without a top 5 or 10 class. This worked at times and at other times it did not. He was one play away from winning the Iron Bowl and that would excuse pretty much all the short comings of 2023. He made a calculated bet that focusing on recruiting would help the program more long term than trying to win every game this year as wild as that sounds. We will find out but what we do know for sure is that the recruiting aspect is working and should continue to work. Auburn is a Ryan Williams away from a top 5 or fringe top 5 class with the 25 class shaping up to be very good.
In hindsight he should've hired a better OC but maybe his hands were tied? Who knows. I've gone back and forth but I'm actually ok with him delegated the gameplan for the Music City Bowl. Recruiting is more important than a bowl game of that caliber right now.

So yall think they get stripped of this chip?
Of course not. NCAA is in survival mode at the moment. They know their model is unsustainable. Making one of the largest and most popular public universities in the country you enemy would be dumb when the clock is ticking.

Good for the Wolverines. It’s nice to have a new champion in CFB. Also really cool to see Washington on that stage. Now get ready for ESPN to downplay this historic defense all off-season.

So I’m hearing this was about the culture. Staff and players had issues with him. Also why crime took a step back. Abusive language and just being disrespectful.
Abusive language huh? Sounds like the entire Auburn fanbase after the 4th and 31

I stand corrected Pruitt was the DC and Kelly was a position coach and took over the following year. Back to my corner lol
No worries lol Pruitt was the one of the ones crying about Auburn stealing signs. Nice to see he fell off the map.

It’s a crime Michigan isn’t wearing their maize britches. I want Michigan to win solely for the melts on the SECN. I want to see Finebaum and Burns cry about it all off-season.

Wasn’t he the DC of that loaded FSU defense that Gus high school offense pushed around. Auburn’s Achilles was the defense on that team wasnt as good like some of the latter years.
Hey fair enough. We will find out. I was just saying basing his resume solely on Colorado is not wise.
