  1. Good Lord that’s awful. Praying for them.
  2. Half the people in Broke were also in The U lol
  3. Sammie either didn’t know the right people or didn’t know how to ask.
  4. If I had to guess, they are saving NIL funds for next year when we’re a bit more ready to make a playoff run. Crazy that CFB teams are not building rosters like pro teams but here we are. I’m with you. Don’t be married to PT. He will be gone in January. I’m sure CFH won’t let PT hurt his program’s chances going forward.
  5. I like the idea. Rotate between Samford, JSU, Troy, and USA.
  6. I agree with you. I’m to the point where I can’t get excited about Thorne. If we had Georgia’s OL? Sure. But we don’t. It’s possible he has another season like he had at MSU. RPO and keeping defenses honest will determine a lot of his success. Can he tuck and run and hit those open receivers if the corners bite? That’s one way he can create explosive plays. I don’t think he can do it over the top consistently. This is a normie take but if PT is struggling mid season, do you wash your hands with the guy and give the reins to HB or whoever is next man up? They’re selling the future and it could help with showing the next QB. Idk. This is probably the most pessimistic I’ve ever been about Auburn football. That Iron Bowl did me in.
  7. Depends on CFH’s long term strategy. Does he think he needs another top 10 or 5 class to survive past 2025? If so then we should expect 6-7 wins because 2024 will again be a “recruit first” season. If he thinks he can coach and recruit at a high level then I think 7-8 maybe even 9 is possible. Recruiting shouldn’t be as difficult as last year as those relationships have been established. A CFH who is managing each and every game plan and who has a better understanding of his program should produce more wins.
  8. Did you watch that game? Rofl
  9. The tall buildings in Vegas would like a word with you. I think I’m more blown away that TAMU and OU are within a FG than the UGA line. OU might be the most winnable game on that list which is hard to wrap my head around right now. Georgia is going to be insane this year. It wouldn’t surprise me if Auburn got blown out and we still go on to win 8 games. Auburn has not seriously been competitive in Athens in 19 years. Why would it start this year? Yes, new staff and all but this program knows that Georgia owns them. It would take an old school Auburn defensive masterpiece to beat Georgia in Athens. Hope I’m wrong.
  10. Our shirsey uniforms in Dixie Leage looked better than current MLB jerseys. How do you fail in such epic fashion? Crazy.
  11. Miracle is a strong word but I get your point. Alabama is more likely than Georgia. Kirby and staff will never underestimate Auburn no matter how the rest of CFB perceives them.
  12. I want to win as many games as possible but Auburn’s #1 priority should be beating a rival and winning their two huge home games in 2024. I swore I would never have that mentality but you have to show recruits you can actually beat elite or good teams.
  13. Wonder who on this site is punching air right now? 🤣 Congrats Bo and War Eagle!
  14. Thorne making the right decisions here will be the only way Auburn gets to 8 wins next year imo. They could not sustain drives last year and I have no reason to believe it will improve that much in 2024. If he can get first downs with his legs and keep defense off balance to get a receiver open for an explosive play then they will have better opportunities to score. Remember that long run against Georgia? That needs to happen more often.
  15. Awesome! Imo, no one beats Malcom Reed in the BBQ game but Meat Church is killer as well. Love his videos.
  16. “I wanted to go to Auburn but they didn’t have Nike and that alone is the reason I didn’t attend school there” - every 4 and 5 star that has signed with Alabama or Georgia the past 10 years
  17. Can’t wait for them to roll out some God forsaken alternative uniform. Nike today is not what it was 25-30 years ago. It’s trash.
  18. The worst part is is never had to be. The model sustained for decades and tens of millions tuned in and no one cared that players were not getting publicly paid. I certainly don’t care. That’s their business. Should they be able to accept money from whomever? Absolutely. If they don’t it’s not some crime against humanity. I love Auburn. Players and coaches come and go. It’s a developmental league. You’re there for 3-5 years. Payton Thorne gets $800K in NIL? That is absolutely radical for him good job. If he made $150K? Cool. Idc. Help Auburn win football games so you can get drafted. The conferences and universities unwillingness to adapt and pay players or create revenue sharing program through student employment led to this mess. ESPN certainly has played a vital role in destroying the sport to build NFL Jr. out of the ashes. I’m kind of over it myself and that’s sad to admit.
  19. That was pathetic. Refs didn’t help matters but our guys didn’t take Yale seriously. I had a bad feeling when it was 68-60. If we could’ve gotten up 15-17 at any point in the last 10 minutes or so we could’ve buried them but alas. Every single year a mid major absolutely cooks a P6 team in March. You think programs would plan accordingly.
  20. Yes, Cam runs a 7 on 7 league in Atlanta if I'm not mistaken.
  21. Trying to fight a 6’5 former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL MVP is hilarious
  22. They kept this game away from us for a decade over $600 for the student athlete lol
