Once again. I never said he didn't coach or quit coaching or whatever. I simply said it's possible he had more input from assistants in the IB or some other game for that matter, than he wanted. It's also possible he devised each game plan all by himself with no input from assistants whatsoever.  It's possible Harsin ticked him off over it. It's also possible Mason hates living in Auburn and doesn't agree with the pregame meal menu and just wants out. I have no idea and no one on here does either. But to totally dismiss the chance that Harsin has done something to tick Mason off is naive thinking.

This appears all speculation, rumor and spin. An attempt to have a reason when it doesn't change the result. Someone  could "say" Mason has done something to tick Harsin off.  Let it play out.  Not the first or last staff change in football.  Football leadership is not for the faint of heart or the fearful.

I think he instantly made our team better. I keep saying we would have been 9-3 at worst with him this year...2021...I don't know what our record will be in 2022, but I think it will be better than 6-6 or 7-5 as long as we do what I think and hope we do in the portal.

Folks keep saying those things because they are true. He has been deemed inaccurate based off his stats alone. The games I watched, he threw very few inaccurate balls. That is what I am saying.

I don't think he is a difference maker, yet. I think he has the tools to be one. Let's keep in mind just how much better Nix got in 1 season under CBH...and Bo had 2 full seasons of starting prior. ZC has one season as a starter and he is already shown me a higher ceiling than Nix has yet. I look for him to get even better with this staff.

I am not saying what our ceiling is because it is way too early to tell. I will say that I don't know if there is a QB out there including CW that instantly makes us a NC contender. Now, with a couple key transfer pickups, I think we could absolutely be close with the DEF we should have.

Tell them it looks like he might wear Bo's number 10.  Good miss direction.

I can't speak for others but I was not implying that about the coaches. Yes, I'm aware everybody is losing players but all transfers are not the same and this is one of them. In fact, I'm not sure how you can afford to not keep a Freshman player like Hunter around. Players like him are the foundation of your team's future. So even though everybody is losing them and we will adjust, because we have to, it still sucks.

A talented team player is better than a talented player.

Why are we even recruiting these guys if we had no chance?  Can someone please tell Harsin this so we can shift resources to guys we might have a shot with?

Some people want instant success.  Read people posting "Harsin only goes after 3 stars" and they are not happy.  Read your post and you are not happy that he is reaching for top level. Harsin doesn't work by the recruiting standards of posters. Maybe some should get into coaching and see if they can make a difference. Rant on my friend.

But I need to know why it's so strange. What made you think and say that it was strange? I want to know...I need to know!  Tell me, tell me, tell me!

Need to know your opinion so we can transgress these transgressive options. Then we can expose each other's idiotic ideas.  Should be good for at least 15 pages of chest pumping.

  6. There is a young man I met who played o line for Ark State who was recruited by Gus and had him for 1 year before Coach Harsin took over.  Noted the differences between them having played for both.  Said Gus was much more likeable. Harsin not as much but you knew where you stood with him.  Clear path laid out and you knew the choices that he sticks by.  He is an Auburn fan and said let him get his guys in and hang on.  Said he trusts Harsin.  Also pointed out that most important thing you need is a coach more than personality.  "Harsin is a coach and it's football"

Over a year now and the conversation is exactly where it started.

It's like we're all in a room with nothing but a hamster wheel and an open door. We all know what he's chosen. I choose the door.

The critics abound among us.   But what have you done for me lately?  Why can't we be like them? I KNOW all the problems and how to fix it group.  And last but not least......if none of these satisfy there is the reserve lame blame of JABA and for sure it has to be the PTB.

This is totally my opinion but for all the “Bo loves Auburn” sentiment that’s been passed around, I feel the feeling may not be a strong as some believe it to be. At least not anymore. So I’m not surprised.

Bo might wind up supplanting Reuben Foster on AU memories list........ " it's a business decision"
