From what I can see, we've only had 1 top 5 class this century. I'm not sure that is viable, maybe it is

I wish that would be a goal, but I don't even remember Auburn ever having a top 5 class, have we? If our yearly goal is to actually be top 5 (which I'm honestly not sure is possible unless we're getting that bag game going a little better, which I'm OK with), we should be able to crack the top 10 in the first year.

Both Coordinators have deep connections across the SE. So do Friend, so does Carnell, so should our WR coach. The connections are there. They need to show they are elite recruiters and sell these kids on Auburn & Harsin. There is a massive gap between the top 3 and back end of the top 10. We aren't going to be loaded with 5*, but there are enough 4* kids from 100 - 350 to fill out a quality class that should sit in the 7-10 range. You're selling Auburn short

C'mon man. 2022 is going to be his first full year and yes he should be top 10. Gus's pathetic recruiting has been borderline top 10. Auburn has proven countless times we can be a top 10 recruiting team.

This entire post is ridiculous. Man you shill so hard for Gus. Prince was from the 2015 class. So he's the only OT that we've drafted out of HS in half a decade that has contributed well. None of the highly ranked JUCO kids have done anything, Hamm isn't a tackle, we had to use a DT convert with pretty poor results this year.....so we got an OK Jack Driscoll for two season. Awesome

I think back in the rivals days, before it was sold to yahoo, it was pretty apparent. But the scouting at these services has improve a lot over the last two decades. They are pretty accurate with their rankings, especially the composites. I agree with E that an Aub commitment will get him some more exposure.
